“My most prized possessions are all from Campfire Pottery. I fell in love with their work when I lived near their store in Portland. Everything is so beautiful and functional. I've received a ton of compliments on their items. My favorite item is the espresso cups. Their shipping and customer service is excellent. I'm trying to stop shopping at big corporations and I am joyfully redirecting my funds to small businesses like Campfire. I have a line item in my budget just for their pottery.”

“My friend and I stopped in here when we were visiting the area. Had no idea what kind of store it was, but it's so cute! Woman owned, everything there seemed to be of great quality and the seaweed info as well as products was so cool! I got the Seaweed Hand cream which absolutely made my hands feel INCREDIBLE, and I'm so picky with hand creams. I also got the cuticle salve which works so well. Did a mask with it overnight on my hands(with gloves on top) and my nails and hands were sooooo healthy in the morning. I did also try a seaweed facial oil of some sort that I regret not buying now, because my face felt amazing all day long and I didn't have any weird reactions(sensitive face). Guess I'll just have to go up again. ?”

“Go-Go has been instrumental in bringing the plastics waste/use to levels we couldn’t reach before. Reuse of our glass containers (which you can purchase at go-go to get started) has made a huge difference in what we buy in our local grocery store. Now the majority of the pantry shelves have glass containers instead of plastic.
Go-Go products have superior performance to any of our usual brands!
The super concentrated laundry detergent is INCREDIBLE!
Risking sounding like the terrible TV adds of the past, you really CAN see the difference! My Carhartt work pants are the litmus test, it’s unbelievable how much better they look and feel.
The hardest part is to get yourself to use only the 2 tablespoons for a regular size load!
Go-Go products are hands down money savers. Reuse your plastic containers from the days of spending crazy money on detergents that have more perfumes than cleaning products, concentrated power can mean fewer drives to make purchases.
I recommend all of their selections from Body lotion that leaves out the 15 syllable ingredients (some of which we used in the past for degreasing transmission parts!)and have pleasant light Essential oil fragrances that dissipate quickly.
Beat the 3oz. Liquid shampoo and conditioner leaking in your luggage during flights with the Wide selection of well shaped, long lasting solid shampoo and conditioners.
From the Best stainless steel compost bins to well shaped wood and natural bristle dish brushes it’s worth a visit.
The extra mileage great use of natural materials makes all the Go-Go products worth the trip.
So grab your favorite containers (re-use is what it’s all about) and head to your local Go-Go
Tell them Hammer sent you ?”

“I bought a few jars of their mango body butter, one as a birthday gift and one for myself. They're so luxurious -- so rich and smooth, and they smell so good! I'll probably buy the kiwi one next, which will be a good summer scent.”
“This is a great gift shop on Long Island - perfect for picking up a hostess gift, a sweatshirt for those cool nights, or a birthday card. They have an amazing selection including books, stuffed animals and toys for kids, candles, snacks, jewelry, mugs - it's a lot of fun to shop around. The staff are all volunteers and it's obvious they love their work. Look for the sign on the road - afternoon hours only - but a great stop on your bike trip or your hike to the state beach.”
“We walked into this store on a whim while we were on vacation in Portland, and we were warmly greeted and welcomed in by Stacey. We didn’t buy anything that particular day, but she left us with a good impression of her and the store. When we needed assistance a few months later with an exchange of items from an online order, we reached out to her for help (we don’t have a local store in our area). We really appreciated her care and assistance in finding a set of glassware that matched our needs, and she made the entire process feel personal and easy. We cannot speak highly enough of Stacey and the Portland store. Thanks again for everything!”
“Great selection of items. However, pricier on many of the same items that can be found further down the road at lower cost. Some unique items for sure but compare prices down the road , on the Maine souvenirs you’ll be seeing a short walk further. ❤️??”
“Nice gift shop with a wide array of souvenir items! Prices are reasonable for touristy things and honestly are even cheaper than many surrounding shops but items are great quality. They have the classics like post cards, mugs, pins, magnets, stickers, ornaments and shirts and unique items like books, soaps, kitchen items, honey, blueberry jams and wall adornments. Sections are easily identifiable by theme like lighthouses, blueberries, lobsters, and seaside/coastal fare. Great one stop shop spot for all your touristy needs!”
“I recently visited the paper store in the maine mall. Had such a wonderful visit?. Love this place ❤️ so many cute finds. Staff was super friendly during a busy time. Very helpful ? ☺️ thank you paper store and happy holidays ????”
“Cute local souvenir store by downtown area. It's on one of the hill, not on the main road.
They have selections of clothes, hats, toys etc. We got a Bluey activity book that was on discount $5 only! Also I found a picture frame I liked. Colorful and good quality. A little expensive but it’s a tourist thing.
The lady was very nice and friendly. I feel people in this area are all pretty nice and easy going. I had lots fun visiting different stores in the neighborhood.”

“I'm so glad I stumbled into Leapin' Lizards after a yoga class! The energy inside is lovely- it's well-curated and so fun to browse. I really enjoyed chatting with the owner, she was so sweet and helpful. If you are into anything spiritual and/or witchy, this is the store for you- best of that kind I've found in the city! Looking forward to returning.”
“I went to the Blue Lobster to checkout their souvenirs before heading back to Boston. They have so much good stuff in there! Staff was friendly and helped me. The Blue Lobster has mugs, magnets, merch and much more! I almost spent my entire check in there. Their store is pretty spacious too so it’s quite easy to move around and shop. I purchased 2 long sleeve tops. They are good quality and affordable!”
“Absolutely love this store! Whenever I visit from California I make it a point to stop in here and buy something. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. Everything here is beautiful and a great value. Highly recommend stopping here when checking out Portland!”
“Small but cute!Selection is unique and the card collection is adorable. We will definitely come back next time I am in the area.Staff was also very friendly and attentive.”
“Freak Street has the friendliest service and their hats/shirts are less than half the cost of the gift shop two doors down. I would definitely return here for Portland, Maine memorabilia. They also do screen printing if that's what you're after.”
“Fast and friendly service. I went in to look for a Maine themed souvenir for some visitors from Japan. After seeing me with a puzzled look on my face, an employee asked what help I needed and directed me to the proper display.”
“It was amazing everything they have is great!!! I spent over an hour walking around looking at everything before I decided what to get!! There is such a great variety of wonderful things in this store!!!”
“Nicest people!! We stopped in on our way through portland returning from vacation. We have just started bee keeping at our plant nursery in New York. The owners were so helpful and took extra time out of their day to show us so many different things we would have never thought or known about . Their products are amazing and this place makes you feel like you’re in a real mom and pop American owned small business. Would highly recommend stopping in to say hi !!”
