“This is a gorgeous store. There are so many different types of vinegar and olive oil’s to pair with any dish you can imagine! Special mention to the staff she is so nice and friendly welcoming you to try all the flavors not just one. It was great a great experience had by all so many gift selections for your favorite chef.”
“I love this place! They truly have 10,000 things to look at. I usually buy a sweatshirt or t-shirt from here since they always have something I like. I love the choices in mugs and stickers and key chains. The also have many unique items you won't really find elsewhere, which is an adventure to me! In addition to all of that, they have beautiful jewelry, both inexpensive and expensive. Lots to enjoy, here! I go every year and I'll be back next year as well! Staff is extremely helpful and kind, also.??”

Not only did they deliver same day, she also package the bottle in a nice bag with a notecard! Highly recommend The Clown based on their selections and service.”

I recently got my mom the Women Painting Women book for Mothers Day - a collection of female artists and their female subjects. “why was it so hard to find some magnets in Portsmouth for souvenirs! lol well I finally found one here - A design and size that i actually preferred so im happy to have visited Tugboat alley. I was also able to purchase a souvenir long sleeved shirt. Items are pricey but i feel the quality was good enough. Lots of clothing to choose from but limited small souvenirs. Worth checking out!”

I will definitely be coming back with a friend next time!I see other reviews saying it’s overpriced — I’m not familiar with the typical prices of the store’s items, but Portsmouth is touristy so everything is expensive. “My friends just got back from Ireland and they're getting married in a few weeks. I wanted to buy them something Irish-themed and this was a great place to go choose a unique gift for them. The shop is small but full of wonderful items and they have an upper floor as well. I found the perfect present. Lynn (sp?) helped us wrap it up in a pretty bag. She was very friendly and talked about how much she loves being/working there - always nice to hear. I definately will be back again when I'm in the area.”
“Our experience in this store in Portsmouth was beyond perfect. Philip greeted us and made sure that we understood not only the products that we were looking at, but the company that makes them. His guidance led us to buy this amazing piece that we will cherish. In addition to that, he walked us through how to set it up and use it for the first time.
We plan on visiting again and adding to our collection. I'll never go to a different store or salesman for pewter.”
“Very cute little shop and even better staff! I live in Chicago and my mom lives close by to this store.. So, I had been eyeing it for a while and it did not disappoint! I have recently gotten into perfumes and saw that they carried Zoologist. Juniper was so lovely and assisted in spraying all the delicious things for me! I ended up with Zoologist - Moth and couldn’t be happier! Definitely will stop back in on my next trip! Thank you so much! ☺️?”

“We did all the shops and this one is by far our favorite! We went everyday ( remember people on our list!) and the owner and staff were so so nice. Also, best selection of sweatshirts and t-shirts, very good quality and great designs. For all wallets, we found that even the most expensive sweatshirt was a great deal, considering the quality. Loads of fun stuff too, cups, fridge magnets, jewelry ect. The last day, we went in to buy a (gorgeous ) long sleeve t-shirt. The price tag indicated 36$ and the lady at the cash told us it was 16$ in reality...!!! HONEST, it would have been so easy for them to charge the full price, we're tourists after all, but no, you gotta love and be loyal to such a shop! We LOVE everything we bought there and we will absolutely be back! Also a sign of a great shop owner, THEY OPEN EARLY IN THE MORNING, so we got our amazing espresso at Dock sqare Coffee Shop, and then to SAXON! Then BEACH!! Thank you so much for your great shop and staff.”

You can purchase a magnet, garden ornament, perfume, painting, beautiful place set, clothes, shoes etc. The selections are endless and IMO definitely has a uniqueness to it that I can’t quite explain maybe the quality. I purchased a cute garden keepsake to take home and can’t wait to bring a Ogunquit back with me.”

“It is a mandatory stop every time I'm in southern ME! I love their inventory. I never leave empty handed. This past weekend I stopped i bought two beautiful gigantic amarillis bulbs encased in wax. No water needed. They both have two buds coming up. Can't wait to see them bloom”

“FANTASTIC SHOP!! I wish I could give this store more than 5⭐️. The variety of products is incredible, the quality is exceptional, and the ownership/employees are amazing and friendly. If you’ve want beautiful beach inspired jewelry, quirky fun socks, delicious smelling candles, potholders, keychains, dish towels, etc then this store has all of that and so so much more. Honestly, It would be easier to list what it does not have. You could spend hours in there and still not get enough time to look at all of the unique and lovely products they sell. The moment you step into this quaint and beautiful shop your eyes are drawn in every direction towards all of the treasures it has throughout. Every time I go to Ogunquit I make sure this is one of my first stops and it is hands down my favorite!! There is something there for everyone so I highly recommend going and exploring this magical store for yourselves and supporting this great small business and lovely owner”
