The normal techs (and Christina) that provide great quality service were not here or already booked. So I agreed to go with someone else. After tipping generously (I normally do) I went home without really checking my nails closely, later on I saw the terrible job she did! I came back to show the fella at the counter and he closely inspected them and agreed that I should have them redone and he scheduled me in. The next day I showed up early and the tech along with two other lady's were standing outside waiting for the shop to be opened and when they saw me they gave me mean ugly looks and were obviously talking about me. These three ladies never did my nails and one kept coming by my car staring at me really hard. When I went inside the lady at the desk confirmed my appointment and pointed me in the direction of the person who previously did my nails. I asked if my appointment was with them and she said yes. I explained that they were the reason why I came back and I didn't want them, because she did an awful job and I wanted someone else. The nail tech said that the awful job was "my fault!" Because I wouldn't let her file my nails??? I called out the lie and reminded the person at the desk that I had been a repeat customer for a long while without any issues, until now. The person at the desk agreed and tried to reschedule me, but kept insisting I would have to go back to her to get my nails fixed by this same woman??!! This is CRAZY! Meanwhile, those ladies that were standing outside were slowly coming around me aggressively like they were ready to fight me! I didn't need this! This was TERRIBLE treatment towards me and of and person/customer period! I said NO THANKS and left. NOTE: THIS star is for the person who did my nails and for the other technicians who provided backup hostility and for the insisting that I go to the same person for correction. She needs to go back through a refresher course AND they need anger management classes! This place as a whole was never before seen by me as anything but great until this happened. If I had read yelp before, I would have avoided this place! Stay FAR away from here and farther away from the older lady who sits on the back right aisle seat. She is TERRIBLE! Cristina and the lady in the front left you two are kind and beautiful JEWELS indeed!

I was very impressed with the salon. They were able to take 3 of us as walk ins for pedicures after another nail salon screwed up our appointment time. They offer a variety of different options for pedicures and a huge assortment of nail polish colors. My technician was Nina. She was very sweet, put up with me and didn't d a fantastic job! I will be back.

The first time I came here, I LOVED my manicure. I came today and my nails were not cut even. Like, noticeably different. Also, I was told I'd be charged $90, and the machine said "$90" but my bank statement shows $95. Maybe they charge a fee to use a debit card (which, I think is illegal in CA) - but it would have been nice to be told, regardless. I tipped $50. Although, I will not be coming back.

Probably the worst manicure I've ever had. I don't do fillers and gel so wanted a nice regular manicure. I can paint my nails better than what I got. You can see the layers where it was sloppily done. Pedicure was better.

Great location. I always get a pedicure, and the full set acrylics come out natural looking. All are kind people, Cindy always does an amazing job!

Pedi are fast and relaxing! They always have a great show in to relax and watch and the staff is always friendly.

Cindy is the girl you wanna see. She has 22 years in the business. She is quick, efficient and fast. I have been getting my nails done off and on for the last 4 years and Cindy has not disappointed me. I pretty much only get a French manicure that lasts up to three weeks. The shop is nice and inviting.

I used to love this place and have gone multiple times. However my last visit was enough to make me not want to come back. My mom, grandma, and I decided to get pedicures together and when we told them my grandma wouldn't be getting gel they wanted to move her out of the salon chair. My grandma has dementia, is confused easily, and is not very mobile (getting her into the salon chair was hard enough for her). Despite all this they tried shuffling her around and said that since she isn't getting gel she couldn't sit in the salon chair even though she was getting a pedicure. Eventually we convinced them to let her stay and when we payed them and gave them a 15% tip they looked at us and said "that's it?". If they wanted a nicer tip they shouldn't have been so rude to my grandma. 15% was gracious considering how uncooperative and rude they were. Even though they've done my nails nice in the past, their callous treatment of my grandma and entitled attitude has turned me off from them completely. I would no longer recommend them and caution anyone who thinks about coming here.

Usual nail lady was not in and everyone else refused to do my nails. Not only is that poor customer service but to not be busy and not take a client is speechless. Please avoid at all cost as the other reviews mentioned

Get manicure pedicure every couple of weeks. They do such a good job. Kristine is the best. If you haven't tried Brookside Nails give them a try.

It is a professional place to get treated professionally. There is strong time management in service and also personalized treatment. I always go as a walk-in and get a great service.

I've been going to Brookside Nails for 2 years now, and EVERYONE is Awesome but Cindy (who did my Nails in the photo freestyle art by hand!!) & Kristine are my absolute Favorites!! Mike and the rest of the team always provide excellent customer service ! Thank you, Kristine and Cindy, for always doing such a great job!! Heart
