The preserve features a collection of large wooden sculptures, including whimsical representations of animals and people, showcasing Langlais's unique style of "found object" art. Visitors can explore the artist’s original workshop, preserved with tools and unfinished projects, offering a glimpse into his creative process prior to his passing in 1977. The park is surrounded by a beautiful wooded area, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a short nature trail that is about one mile long. The trail meanders past various sculptures, including playful elephant figures and intriguing pieces like a large finger and an open hand. The sculptures invite curiosity and reflection, making it a nice spot for public art appreciation. Worth the stop. Came in on a leisurely coastal roadtrip between brewery visits. What a fun little adventure.

Cool wooden sculptures and the artist’s original workshop. Also very nice wooded walk / nature trail just past the parking area. Pretty flat terrain that makes for a nice wander thru the forest.
