“As someone who has been shopping at the Damariscotta location for years, I can tell you that she is one of the best things that has happened to that store. She's kind, genuinely caring, and goes above and beyond for the people she serves. She remembers her regular customers, takes an interest in them, and actually makes an effort to help. When I was recovering from knee surgery and couldn't manage walking every aisle, she took the time to help me get my groceries. That's the kind of person she is.
She works at both locations and has naturally built friendships and professional relationships with people at both. She speaks highly of her manager in Augusta because she genuinely respects the work he and his team have done to turn that store around. There is nothing romantic about that unless you're determined to make it into something it isn't.
Quite honestly, the way you're twisting an employee's kindness and professional relationships into some kind of romantic situation says far more about you than it does about her. You sound less like someone who is protecting a relationship and more like someone who is threatened by another woman simply existing in the same space.
Jealousy is never a flattering look. Neither is publicly projecting your insecurities onto someone who has done nothing to deserve it.
You attack one person from our area, you attack us all.”
“It's a typical site, but this one stands out because the manager works very hard to keep the store very well maintained. The aisles are clear and easy to get through.”
