“The store is usually well stocked, the meat and produce are very good, and staff is always helpful. My only complaint is waiting in line for quite a while to check out. Even in the busy summer, there’s only 2 or 3 registers open. It can take you as long to check out as it does to shop.”

“A lot of people give this pharmacy crap, but during the height of COVID and since then, it’s really the only functioning pharmacy open 7 days a week. At the worst, when Walgreens had shutdown this pharmacy was absolutely overwhelmed by everyone shifting their scripts over. Of course wait times were horrendous for quite awhile. When Walgreens opened back up, some people shifted their scripts back, but a lot didn’t because Walgreens is still closed on weekends. Wait times are better now that the pressure has eased, but I doubt they’ll return to pre pandemic levels anytime soon unless another pharmacy opens 7 days a week. I commend the pharmacists and staff for doing their absolute best and helping all of us, including the irritable ones. I truly appreciate it, and now that they have a little more time and flexibility, they are more than willing to work with you if a snafu happens.”

“My prescription was ready when I arrived. Pharmacy staff was courteous and prompt. Location is easy for me to get to and front cashier who helped me find another item was very friendly!”

“This is NOT a 1 star review, so this pharmacy gets an unwarranted star because ZERO stars is not an option. Closing time is 7 PM and I when I enter the store I immediately notice the pharmacy cage is down 15 minutes before closing. I see the pharmacist upon walking up to the register and she half looks up from her work station. I wait patiently for several minutes until a tech greets me and despite my prescription in the process of being filled, I am told they close in 7 minutes. Long pause. I have to say, so then what you’re not saying is I’ll have to come back tomorrow. And the young girl says YES! with a big smile. I assure you, it takes less than 2 minutes to fill my prescription, but I’ll sadly have to return in the morning. I hope this store gets it act together because this is the worst experience a patient could experience. Everything in Maine is 45 minutes away. So I’ve wasted my time and money just to do it again. Save yourself the agony and find another pharmacy with employees who are willing to help the customer. 2 other Walgreens in the Midcoast are always willing to fill the script right up until closing, and both will even stay open a bit longer for their customers.”
