This is our third trip to the Brewster Inn. We always stay in the Honeymoon Suite. It is super nice...the bed is very comfortable. There is a gas fireplace/stove that keeps the room cozy and romantic. It is in the living room area with a loveseat and smart TV. There is a keurig, microwave and refrigerator to meet all your needs. And to finish off the fantastic room is a spa tub - perfect to relax tired muscles after hiking or snowshoeing.Tina and Mark are exceptional hosts who are available whenever you need something. Tina makes an amazing breakfast!!If you have no idea where Dexter is...it is close to everything you need for a Maine getaway.

My wife and I had a lovely time at the Brewster Inn. The honeymoon suite was clean and spacious, offered everything we needed to unwind after a long day. Mark & Tina were pleasant and very accommodating. The fireplace and over-sized tub only added to our experience. We could have easily remained at the Inn and skipped our day trips for both days we were there. A great get-away for those seeking some peace and quiet!Nearby activities: The time of year we visited, there was not much that catered to our interests. However, we still very much enjoyed the time we spent in the small town of Dexter.

We were in Dexter for a wedding in November and were delighted to find the Brewster Inn. Our innkeepers, Mark and Tina, were lovely hosts. The charming room was a great size for our party of 4. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, making sure that we had everything we needed. We talked about the history of the property and all the work they have done (and are still doing) to restore it. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, Tina was kind enough to share her recipe for the Ham and Cheese strata. We will definitely stay again if we are ever in the vicinity.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The Brewster Inn in October, 2023, while visiting our elderly Aunt who lives in Corinth. The Brewster Inn was a short distance from her residence. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Game Room. Mark and Tina made us feel very much at home, providing us with necessary information during our stay and personally preparing delicious breakfasts. It was a beautiful and relaxing stay and we would recommend, without reservation, The Brewster Inn, to anyone traveling in Maine. We look forward to our next stay there. Michael and Annette GiammatteoRooms: The rooms were clean and very cozy.

We recently had a delightful stay at The Brewster Inn on October 2023. Mark And Tina were very hospitable and easily accessible to us during our stay. From the common spaces to our room the inn was very clean and comfortable. Our room was large and had all the amenities of home in it. And the bed and linens were very comfortable. Mark and Tina always greeted us with smiling faces each morning at breakfast. Without me asking Tina made a vegetarian breakfast one morning so I did not miss out on the hot dish they served. They were helpful and made great suggestions for our trip. We highly recommend this beautiful inn and would stay here again,Rooms: Our room was very comfortable. The shower in the bathroom has the best shower head ever! The mattress was also very comfortable.

We stayed at the honeymoon suite and the room was incredibly comfy. Mark & Tina are impeccable hosts, Tina puts out a great breakfast, better than most B&B's. We loved the Honeymoon Suite. The jacuzzi tub was huge and the room was big too with an outstanding bed, best of a long trip!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Brewster Inn in Aug '23 when I visited Maine for the first time. I was looking for a true B&B experience where I could enjoy some local atmosphere in a warm and welcoming environment. I found it at the Brewster Inn. Mark and Tina were great hosts - very friendly and knowledgeable. Mark showed me where I could find several local attractions and spots of interest I likely wouldn't have found on my own. The entire place is very clean and tastefully decorated with many photos and artifacts describing the building's interesting past. The back patio was a relaxing place to read and relax.Rooms: My room was very spacious and nicely decorated, without being overly fancy.Nearby activities: Mark showed me where I could find fine examples of covered bridges, a section of highway with dozens of craft birdhouses hanging on the wall, and a fantastic unstaffed cheesecake restaurant (Momo's) that operates on the honor system.Food & drinks: The welcome drink when checking in was the perfect way to start my stay after my flight into Bangor. (The drinks menu includes a couple of local craft beers definitely worth trying!) The breakfast featured delicious homemade pastries and stuffed French Toast.

On our week-long vacation in Maine, we left the coast and headed inland to see what we could see. The Brewster Inn is the perfect base for exploring the lakes and Baxter State Park in north-central Maine! Our hosts, Mark and Tina, were warm, welcoming, and attentive; opening their beautiful home to us during our stay. Our room and the entire home were very clean and comfortable. Sitting in the screened-in porch overlooking the garden was so relaxing after a long day of travel and sightseeing. Chatting with other guests in the living room and during breakfast was just an added bonus. So fun to meet and share stories with other travelers! Speaking of breakfast, it was top-notch; delicious and filling. Really no need to eat lunch! If we ever make it back to Maine, we will definitely stop in!Scott & LindaWisconsinGo Pack Go!

We sincerely enjoyed our time at The Brewster Inn, it was a special stay during our travels in Maine. Mark and Tina were super and have created a lovely atmosphere in their establishment. The historic property offers inviting guest spaces, pretty gardens, a charming breakfast room, and everything was sparkling clean. Our room was private and spacious and the homemade breakfast with (essential) quality coffee was delicious. We are so happy to have stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast. It was a treat!Cook & Lori, Denver CO

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Brewster Inn in Dexter, Maine, and I must say it was a remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, Mark and Tina, the hosts, extended their warm hospitality, making me feel right at home in this beautiful and historic inn originally owned by Senator Brewster. The charm of the Brewster Inn lies not only in its rich history but also in the personal touches added by the Stephens. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and adorned with thoughtful appointments that reflect the inn's heritage. It's evident that a lot of care has been put into maintaining the inn's historical character while ensuring a comfortable stay. One highlight of my stay was the delicious morning breakfast, offered complimentary to guests. It was evident that the innkeepers take pride in providing a hearty and enjoyable meal to start the day on the right note.Adding to the comfort, the rooms come with plush robes that truly elevate the stay experience. These small details make a significant difference and contribute to the overall sense of relaxation and indulgence.Beyond the interior, the outdoor spaces of the Brewster Inn are a true delight. The meticulously designed and cared-for grounds offer a serene backdrop for enjoying a peaceful morning, leisurely afternoon, or tranquil evening. The screened-in patio and other outdoor areas provide the perfect setting for taking in the natural beauty that surrounds the inn.In conclusion, the Brewster Inn is a hidden gem that offers not only a cozy and comfortable stay but also a journey into history and a retreat into tranquility. Mark and Tina's dedication to their guests' experience shines through every aspect of the inn, making it a destination I wholeheartedly recommend for anyone looking to experience a slice of Maine's history and charm.Best regards,Joseph Boyd

We had a lovely stay at this gem of a property. Our stay was spontaneous and Mark had one room available. We were lucky to get it because there were weddings in the area as well as the seaplane fly-in in Greenville and plenty of people to accommodate. Mark and Tina made us feel like part of their family. The breakfast was delicious and our room was clean and cozy. The property is beautifully cared for and we highly recommend. It's easily the best B&B in this part of the state. If we return to Maine, this is where we would be sure to stay. Thank you both!
