I am a "local" and I can't say enough about how wonderful the cashiers are at Towle's. They are friendly and engaging and a delight to interact with. It is not easy in today's world to serve the public with so many varied customer expectations but towle's employees come through with courtesy and humour. They face many challenges with the various customers they face that often sadly leave them to resolve the disgusting leavings in the restrooms that no one should have to deal with, and they bear the brunt of it. Poop on the floor. Poop on walls. Why?! Just why?! Public restrooms could be an entire horror category unto itself and it only takes one miscreant to defame one restroom as an example of one place of business. Our local library has a restroom in the basement that offers a diaper changing station. Someone changed a diaper on said fixture and left the dirty diaper on the station and closed it up to be found by the next unwitting user of the restroom. Why?! Just why?! Neither the store or library have control of what people are doing when they use the facilities. Please stop blaming the staff of these places.

This place has saved me a lot of trouble. Super absorbent paper towels? 100 proof alcohol? Black ten gallon trash bags? Scissors? Hydrogen peroxide? Black gloves? They have it all. And they were so nice to give me directions to the nearest dump site.

Dirty and unsanitary bathrooms (dried feces on the hand rails) (dirt on walls) (thick layer on exhaust fans) (paper towels in toilet), and needed much updating as well. Especially this day with covid and all. Just imagine what you see is awful...what about what you can't see! Not so sure if the rest of the store is the same, didn't stay to figure it out. Cashier was great took care of toilet as soon as I told her. Manager however was extremely rude, waving his hands saying we're taking care of it. I asked for number to complain and he refused to get it. I said your only taking care of the clogged toilet. He said we've been busy. I believe today is Tuesday and not much traffic.

Great little corner store, locally owned. Very friendly. Gets pretty busy at times. They have gas and most of stuff you expect along with hosting the local Dunkin Donuts.

I love this place. I'm in town visiting family for the month and I stop by this place almost daily during my run through town. The staff is friendly and fun to chat with. Always good to come home!

Owner is rude half the time the other half of his time he pretends to smile. Prices are high, and then there's the staff... shady sanitary practices in the kitchen, mostly food prep and freezer. Avoid at all costs!
