I have used this bank since they opened a branch in York, Maine, many years ago. I have always had great personal service.Their employees are well trained and knowledgeable. The Eliot branch has been my go to place for important financial questions these past seven years. Thank you, all employees in Eliot.

I have been a customer for years not sure what happened to this bank but they definitely have changed it used to be personal customer care and service!!if you had an issue the branch manager or assistant manager would go out of there way to help you!! Now you get a number to call and good luck. !!! It's im sorry its the the banks policy I will definitely be closing my accounts and going else where!!

WORST BANK EVER! Take your hard earned money anywhere else. Oliva took my call and kept talking over me, very condescending and rude. Trying to make sure my money was going into the right account from having issues from taxes going into the wrong account in the past. Was told to call before I knew it was going in and now was just told I need to call back again, cause they can't do anything till they receive it. She can't make a note or write it down! Way too many negative experiences in the last year to ever write about.

I have used this bank for close to 10 years, and happily, even though their technology and services lag modern, national banks. I like the idea of banking locally. However, on January 4 2019 I had a very disturbing experience here. I went in to have a wire transfer arranged, after have done due diligence to investigate the party to whom I was sending the money. The manager of the bank very inappropriately berated me for the request, saying things like "How do you know this email wasn't, what do they call it, phished?" and "I don't have $#,### to risk!" She also insisted on information about the person to whom the transfer was going, such as his personal address, something he, a veteran of hundreds of wire transfers, says he has never had to provide. I left the bank and arranged the transfer another way, successfully. On the 10th of January I wrote the manager, the President of the Bank, and the bank's VPs of Customer Service and Human Resources to describe the incident. Nearly 2 months later I have received no response. While I like the idea of banking locally, there is really no excuse for this kind of behavior by a bank manager, or this lack of simple customer courtesy on the part of its leadership. I've opened an account at another bank and will be transferring my banking there over time.

First off great bank for everyone. Small guys to the big business they got you covered. No hiden fees!!! Anyway im writing this review because of the assistant bank manager Andrews work ethic. He helped me get through all my banking needs with ease. Went in stressed out came out with a smile and my very own lolly pop!
