Don’t deal with Tony, he’s lies!!!?He promised something but not following through!!! What a deadbeat!!! Also only one car on 2023! Only one car key, told me to get another one made…. For the price of the car there should have been 2 keys!!! What a joke he is!!!! Also I had taillight full of water and was told for me to take it there shop in Banger, really wouldn’t think that job… That’s way it was when I bought it…And then when I didn’t take it up in their timeframe, lol which there was no timeframe…Telling me now take it to a shop and get an estimate and I’ll give to my higher ups and see we can help you in anyway!!!! Really!!!

Terrible terrible experience. We applied for a car in 2023 and we ended up going with a truck at K&R in auburn but was told after it showed on our credit report that all 7 hard inquiries from them would group into 1 after we purchase a car, even after purchasing a car with a different company. Here we are in 2025 and it still shows up on me and my boyfriend’s credit as 7 separate hard inquiries with no movement or help on their end. Also we both had 720 and above and 740 and above and it is now negatively effecting our credit. Don’t go with them we signed paperwork to have our credit ran once not 7 times. Do not trust this company! Terrible experience!!

The most incredible customer service is top on the list. Jim Lyons listened to what I wanted that was within my budget and didn't try to sell up for personal gain. He found me the perfect car and listened to my experience with the big name Sales places and even the smaller dealerships and I was nervous. They all set my nerves at ease and now I have the perfect vehicle.

Terrible and rude. you have to get screened by a call center, do all the work online and are promised financing. Until they call you and are rude to say they won't finance you with a 74K income. They've become arrogant and unfriendly. 0 stars. I was treated like I was a bum. Best in the state, LOL.

A big thank you to Lee Auto Mall in Ellsworth, Maine. I am very pleased with Lee Auto Mall’s services. Just bought a Hyundai Tucson and the process went smoothly and I felt comfortable with making a big decision getting a new vehicle from them….Friendly and welcoming business. Yeah I bought a 2019 nissan frontier with whatever 30 something thousand miles from them for $25,000 now I try to buy a older 2015 gmc canyon with 50 thousand miles they want $28,000. So I explain to them look I bought this one off you guys for this much and now you are trying to sell me a truck with a 1/4 of its life already gone and you guys are gonna ask that much? The truck brand new was $20,000.... I said I'd buy it if they would drop it to 25 out the door the manager said no couldn't do it. So I guess I can't buy vehicles through you guys either! Hope people listen this company's full of greedy Karen's

I received fast friendly service from the entire staff. When I told them what I wanted for a vehicle they found me exactly what I needed right away, and stayed within my budget too. When it's time for my next car or truck in a few years I won't hesitate to come back to Lee Auto

I bought a 2017 Chevy equinox from them and soon after I bought it I needed to replace the tires replace the battery fix a sensor on the motor and then within six months of buying it it blew a seal and drain completely from the motor. I had to take it get it fixed had it back a week and it did the exact same thing. The person who fixed my car did a lot of research and this is a common problem with a Chevy equinox they have an issue with the motor that causes build up and pressure in the motor and then blows out the seal. In the meantime my check oil light never comes on since I have put $6000 into the car I now have to put 3 quarts of oil in every few weeks because it burns through oil. I would not recommend buying a car from them unless you have somebody who knows what they’re doing check it out from head to toe.

We had an extremely positive, and easy time working with James (Jimmy) Lyons. Jimmy was personable, not pushy, and was able to answer all of our questions. We had great interactions with Robin, and Cassie.However, we had a horrible time with Alex. While waiting for Jimmy to finish up with a scheduled appointment, Alex approached my husband and asked him if he could help him. My husband stated clearly that we were being helped by Jimmy and we were waiting for the manager that was working that day ( I forget his name...also not super pleasant), to find out some info for us. Alex pressed again that he could help. My husband, again, stated that no, we had already been helped and explained the situation. This back and forth went on for 3 or 4 exchanges. At which point Alex got frustrated and said for us to go back with him to his cubby-desk area. Once in there he asked us all the questions we had already been through. At this point Jimmy overheard what was going on and said he was working with us. Alex continued on, ignoring Jimmy. Jimmy, again, stated we were with him, and we were waiting for the manager to get some info we all needed. In a huff Alex got up and went into the managers office. Alex stomped out and pointed to a different waiting area and said, "I guess you guys can wait in there."This was not our only less than awesome experience with Alex. While we were waiting for things to go through, we decided to head over to some nearby stores and get some other shopping done. The plan was to call Jimmy in an hour or so. My husband made the call. Alex answered. My husband asked to leave a message for Jimmy. Alex insisted he could help. My husband was very firm and said, "No. I need to talk to Jimmy. Please can I leave him a message?" Alex wanted to know a detailed message, and almost refused to take just a name for Jimmy to call back.Jimmy is a rockstar and I would highly recommend he be your man to hook you up with a great used vehicle. Be weary of Alex, as he seems to be a vulture, looking to steal customers from his co-workers. We also overheard him talking to a few of his own potential customers. He seems to really be into getting gossip on people, especially those down on their luck.

Robin was great. I had been waiting for one of the other salespeople to call me back for several weeks and needed to get a car. Luckily, Robin answered the phone when I called and the other fella was out on vacation. She worked with me so that I could afford the payment.
