Each December I have photo calendars made for me to be presents. It is a lot of work since I individualize many of them. I do about 20. The price is much more reasonable than other locations and you don’t have to send away for service

This place excels at one thing: consistently providing the worst service ever. The least helpful, most unfriendly, and rudest staff of any UPS store from AZ to MN to ME to FL. Avoid if possible or you'll probably regret it later.

I’ve always had good experiences at this store when i have stayed near Ellsworth. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful without exception.

Great staff! The store is beautiful and open space! One of the best UPS stores I have been to across the country. Definitely a keeper!

I was traveling through the area and used this store to mail purchases home. When I arrived home, my package was waiting for me and every item was packed with great care.

The woman working on 8.23.23 around 11:50am wearing the N95 mask, was extremely rude and spoke to me as though I was some how beneath her, annoyed by me needing to drop off Fidum equipment and send back a package. She spoke to me as though she thought i was not from around here. Surprise! I live in Ellsworth! She first had me unbox all the fidum equipment, stating they had to repackage it which was then followed by "I've never even heard of fidum, everyone has spectrum around here. we can't take that stuff back, you need a code."(Never specified what this "code" was either.) I just unboxed all the stuff for what then? So, in her attempt to make me feel stupid for having fidum equipment "no has" snowballed into her really being angry I also needed to mail a Temu order back. She wouldn't scan the QR code, insisting I HAD to email the label to her, pay them .76C for printing it off. She was just so condescending, short tempered and rude with every word she dribbled from her mouth. I cannot believe how rotten people have become in customer service. It cost ZERO DOLLARS to just be nice. She was nasty to woman in line in front of me, also. Lady, you work at the UPS Store, you are no better than anyone else working. It would serve you well to remember, your pine box won't be any bigger than mine.

The girl who helped me was rude and charged me a fee to pickup a package. I have had UPS packages routed to stores all around the country and I have never paid a fee to pickup a package. The kicker was when I asked if it was a UPS fee, she said they weren’t UPS. This store is literally called “The UPS Store”, she had a “UPS” shirt on.This store has an identity crisis, I understand that they are a franchise, but you can’t represent as UPS to attract customers but then claim not to be UPS when you decide to charge additional fees outside of what UPS charges.I wouldn’t trust this store with shipping anything of value.

I am continuously going into the Ellsworth UPS store and all of the girls are beyond amazing, kind, helpful. I always have important documents to print, fax and email Marion and Sara along with the other girls are always professional & knowledgeable The other day I went into the store with these HUGE WINDOWS to return to Amazon it was almost time for the store to close and NO ONE not even me would have wanted to deal with that it was a nightmare.. However, KIM was so helpful she went ABOVE & BEYOND TO HELP ME! KIM helped me package these huge heavy windows helped me measure everything get these HUGE 3 WINDOWS PACKED INTO THE RIGHT SIZE BOXES It was beyond time consuming and the fact she offered to help very kind and funny She was very sweet all the girls that work there make me feel welcomed each and every time and I'm a lot to handle so they deserve some recognition

Didn’t have any problems with them in the past. However, I had to go in and notarize a document with my husband, they had to check my ID because the document required a spousal signature. Two employees were helping us. First girl was very nice, she did some notarizing for us in the past, never had a problem. The other one, however, (older lady with red hair) did not want to notarize the document and accept my GC as a valid ID (GC is a valid ID in the state of Maine), she was rude and very unprofessional, making passive-aggressive comments throughout the whole process, while the other employee was trying to help us. As soon as we googled it and showed the older lady that it is accepted, she backed off and started wrapping up the paperwork, giving up on this confrontation.I’m not sure if it was just incompetence, but the attitude of this employee is leading me to believe that it was partially discrimination because of my nationality.Really sucks, other employees are great and very nice, but I have to leave this review anyway just because of that one individual who does not know what professionalism is.

Had a quick printing job. Used the web form, was ready in 2 min for pick up. Very handy!

Shipped a package to Canada and they never told me UPS would charge a fee more than double the shipping fee I paid in-store to get the package through customs. This "UPS brokerage fee" was in addition to the usual government fees. NEVER would have shipped the package if they'd told me the real charge to ship the package. Don't use for international shipments unless you want an unpleasant, additional, astronomically high surprise fee once your package leaves the country.

This is my first time having to send a package to a UPS store to be picked up. Upon reading the experience of other road-trippers of having their packages returned to sender, I decided to visit the store before placing my order. They said that they do have a policy of accepting courier-delivered items only, so UPS and FedEx are fine (they will charge a fee upon pick up, around $5-10 depending on package size), USPS deliveries will not be accepted. I am grateful of the warnings in the reviews, and I called the vendor and made sure my purchase will be sent via UPS. The lady who answered my inquiry on the initial visit was nice.I will update this review when my package is delivered.Update: got my package! Box was about the same size as a shoe box, $5 fee at pickup.

UPS Is the absolute worst in customer service never had a decent experience, lost a package no big deal but they make it impossible to talk to someone and when you finally do they hang up. Even went to a UPS store in Ellsworth and the customer service is toxic never would I ship or hope to receive anything from them again!

Always helpful when I need printing done in a pinch. The people complaining in these reviews are most likely rude, impatient or unprepared to ship their stuff. Get it together people. LolI appreciate they handle fedex packages too, the other alternative is Walgreens but I much rather trust the staff at UPS to handle my shipments.I have been going here sporadically for years (since their previous location) and I've never had any issues whatsoever.

Destroyed seashell mirror with poor packing, and poor attitude. When I dropped it off for pack ‘n’ ship, the surly woman told me, when I added insurance, “you’re gonna have to prove its value if we break it.” As if she were annoyed that I was protecting my investment. The bill, for a 20” diameter mirror, pack ‘n’ ship, came to a whopping $119. It almost feels as if she did a poor job on purpose. So thanks to her, I get to waste valuable time making a claim, and hopefully recovering my money. No hope for the beautiful mirror, as one can see.
