Beautiful campground. Unfortunately not very dog friendly. Cannot have dog at the beach. Even where they are allowed to go in water, they have to be on the leash which is not really swimming. I understand not wanting dogs running around everywhere. But a few well behaved dogs swimming for a half hour after the regular beach hours are done doesn’t seem like it would be detrimental to anyone’s camping experience and would allow them to have some fun and get exercise. Beautiful place but not really great for active dogs that like to swim on vacation

Cathedral Pines Camp Ground is one of our favorites. If possible we stay twice a season. The sites are big and clean, and the staff is great but there something more. The atmosphere under the Pines, the history of Flagstaff lake is unique. We go for the remote relaxing nature of the area.

This campground is so beautiful. Aptly named because it does feel like a cathedral of pines. I pitched a tent at site 80. So spacious and directly across from the restrooms. I walked to the little beach and
dock at sunset and, oh my, the view of the Bigelows was so pretty...and reflected in the lake. Even if it had rained though, I would have been happy snuggling up in the clubhouse and constructing one of the many jigsaw puzzles or reading one of the numerous books. Love this place!

A beautiful site, and really impressive facilities all around. Extremely professionally run, clean, and secure. Highly recommended for RV and tent campers visiting the area.

This is a campground, water and power. Dumping stations, nice big sites. Trees are gorgeous here, pretty quiet, gorgeous lake , 3 min walk from our site. You can rent kayaks and there is a market that is probably 4-5 minute walk.

Great location close to many hikes! Extremely friendly staff who helped us even though we were coming late. We felt extremely safe in this area and had no complaints!

Such lovely people. Very peaceful place set in Maine’s oldest old growth forest with towering pine trees, and all by water with a beach and dock. Spotless and well equipped.

The best campground in Northern Maine. Very large campsites with fire rings. Shower rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Activities for children. A beach with spectacular views of Flagstaff Lake and mountains.

By far the most family friendly camp ground I've been too. Paved roads, respectful quiet campers, great staff, and nice facilities. We will be back.

Not a hotel and no cabins. All beautiful and spacious camp sites along Flagstaff lake. Come sites right on the water and some in and among the amazing pines. Well kept and manicured grounds. Modern bathrooms cleaned daily and monitored throughout the day. They have beautifully paved roads through the whole campground. Lots of things to do and travel too around them. Great places to explore nature. Lots of beautiful wild life.
