Hinckley General Store is a small family owned convenience store located between Fairfield and Skowhegan. It is a wonderful country store with very sweet and awesome employees. They offer more food options, making the best pizzas, sandwiches, and a very good cheeseburger. The grocery items are higher priced than other stores, but it is a helpful option if you cannot get to town. The new owners have done a fantastic job, and it remains a loved local spot with good food and very good options.
What a wonderful old world experience. The food was excellent The service was unparalleled and the atmosphere was smashing! You just don't find places like this much anymore. If you get a chance to stop, don't miss it!
