Very decent service, very informative about the products, about what you would expect price wise compared to other local appliance stores. Prices aren't as good as places like Lowes however the service makes up for it

We were very happy with the assistance we received from the locally-owned Sears outlet in Farmington. Jacob and his crew were helpful when we ordered our appliances and great when they installed them. They took care of a problem with one of the appliances to our complete satisfaction. Highly recommended.

The gentleman working there was very helpful. Probably like many stores, they didn't have much inventory.

I called them to see about getting my washer fixed that isn’t even a year old. They informed me it would be up to a month to have someone even come look at. This is outrageous that I would have to wait this long. I will not be buying anything from them ever again, and would not recommend any else does either. They have zero respect for their customers and don’t stand behind their product.

Bought a 500$ grill. Was never delivered and never got my money back. So frustrating and maddening to have a small town store do this to a local family. Will never walk through sears doors again.

Little late to review. I purchased a lawn mower from Jake this past fall; however, after seeing some reviews I wanted to share my experience. I purchased a new house with a lot of lawn that needed the proper piece of equipment to keep it maintained. Many places I looked for a mower were sold out, backordered, overpriced, or just didn't have what I was looking for. I reached out to Jake and he had exactly what I wanted. He put it on hold for me and was even able to get the attachments that I also wanted. Delivery was fast and flawless. He spent the time to make sure I understood on how to operate and maintain the mower before he left. With how short staffed retail stores have been throughout the pandemic it was very nice to have the owner of the store spending as much time as he did to help me with my new purchase.

LONG REVIEW, but worth a few minutes to read if you're making a large purchase requiring installation. Please read this review knowing that I do not EVER aim to do a business harm, and truly love to build businesses up!In mid-November I purchased a new front-loading washer/dryer set, along with pedestals. These were ordered as they're not carried in-store, so I had no problem waiting for them to arrive. In total, these two machines cost me around $3500; I could have ordered them via another means using a corporate discount to save around $600, but chose to support local people who are working hard to provide a service in our community. The machines arrived and delivery was set-up; install was a nightmare. My washer/pedestal was placed with no feet. Sitting flat on a textured tile floor, it gets scraped each time it's opened or closed, rendering it useless until the feet are on. The dryer and pedestal DID have feet, so without the washer having feet, the two sit a solid inch differently in height. Also, not having these created an issue with the washer being level, meaning it vibrates VIOLENTLY when spinning out even on the lowest setting. NOTHING WAS EVER SAID ABOUT THE MISSING FEET BY THE INSTALLERS. They literally said "You're all set!" and it didn't take us long to figure out why everything was unlevel. I had to call the store and ask why the feet weren't there, along with the shipping bolts that were not left for us. (These bolts come standard with all front-loaders, and are required if you ever want to move the machines again without damaging them.) The store's owner ordered replacement feet and offered to install them himself since the machine is very heavy. I've not heard from him again, so I went to the store and picked them up myself. I was hoping he WOULD come and install them, so that we could also discuss the damage to my hardwood floors done by installers also, but likely won't get that chance.Prior to install, we had ordered new vent parts for the dryer so that everything needed was brand new and ready for them -- no fussing with old, junky vents, and making their job as easy as possible. Vent hose, collar, and all interior and exterior vent parts were placed so loosely they all fell off both inside the house and on the exterior.. Power cord was affixed to the dryer so loosely, posing a fire hazard. This poor work was explained as not having the regular folks on the job, and that they were unfamiliar with this washer/dryer specifically. In all reality, it's poor work -- end of story. Placing and securing a dryer vent or affixing a power cord on a dryer does not pose any serious differences from machine to machine. My husband and stepfather spent time to re-do the install the correct way. (Aside from the washer feet, which I just picked up yesterday.) I'm pretty confidant that when ordering I was told we would have free delivery and install; the store owner offered to refund our installation as a result of the poor work ---- which, when looking back at my receipt, I did pay over $80.00 for.In conclusion, we paid more to support a local store, received products that were installed so poorly, have damage to our home as a result, had no follow-through from store leadership, and ended up doing the work ourselves.

It's frustrating to feel the need to say something negative about a business in a small town, but also know not everyone has the means or physical ability to reinstall something the way we have had to. In mid-November I purchased a new front-loading washer/dryer set, along with pedestals. These were ordered as they're not carried in-store, so I had no problem waiting for them to arrive. In total, these two machines cost a pretty penny; I could have ordered them via another means using a corporate discount, but chose to support local people who are working hard to provide a service in our community. The dryer and pedestal DID have feet, so without the washer having feet, the two sit a solid inch differently in height. Not having these created an issue with the washer being level, meaning it vibrates VIOLENTLY when spinning out even on the lowest setting. Clearly knowing something was 'off' the installers said nothing; literally said "You're all set!" It didn't take us long to figure out why everything was unlevel. I called the store to ask why the feet weren't there, along with the shipping bolts that were not left for us. The store's owner ordered replacement feet and offered to install them himself since the machine is very heavy; that's the last conversation had, and I went to the store and picked them up as to not wait any longer. I'm pretty confidant that when ordering I was told we would have free delivery and install; the store owner offered to refund our installation as a result of the poor work ---- which, when looking back at my receipt, I did pay over $80.00 for. ...hasn't happened yet. In conclusion, we paid more to support a local store, received products that were installed poorly, have damage to our home as a result, had no follow-through from store leadership, and ended up doing the work ourselves. Hopefully something turns around for them soon, because this caliber of work isn't survivable long-term!

Bought a lawn mower online and it said it was in store and ready for pickup. I called the next day to make sure it was there and I was told yes it is there in the back with my name on it. Great!!! Two days later I go to pick it up and it’s not there. They said it was never there and they cancelled the order from the store in Farmington and never told me. No I’m sorry or explanation of where it went. This place is a joke! This isn’t the first time I have had problems there , but I assure you this is the last. I will take my business elsewhere and you should too!!!!!

Immediately greeted with friendly service. Pointed to the item I was requesting and they carried it to the register for me. In and out with exceptional service.

Just a few weeks shy of 1 year dealing with this fridge fiasco. Having to defrost it 1-2 times a week, throwing food away because it goes bad, wondering if the milk I give Colt is sour.

Absolutely horrid. The owner has no idea what he is doing and will lie to customers to save his own butt. You can fight him for months for a refund for something you paid for and never got but you won't ever get your refund.
