Great small grocery store conveniently located in the downtown Farmington area. Wonderful sale items are available. Look up the flyer online, but be sure it is the Farmington one. Flyers vary from location to location.

Cute little grocery store. Had lots of different things. Plenty of produce, wide aisles, clean and employee owned.

Great small friendly grocery outlet for around town, friendless 5/5, organization 4/5, price 5/5. Love the vibes the place gives off.

Parking can be difficult. The inside is outdated and they don't have a very big selection. This is the place you go when you realize you've run out of something and just need a little to hold you over, or if you didn't plan dinner and you're broke and this is the closest store. They're stuff is fresh though. And the staff are nice. You can find some things here that you can't find elsewhere.

The food is a little bit expensive so I wouldn't go there a lot but the cashier is very kind and helpful

What an amazing grocery store. They always have everything I need and a friendly staff. I shop here often and tell my friends to as well!

Parking can be a challenge at times as the municple parking lot behind the establishment is shared by many businesses. The location is wheelchair accessible and they practice CDC guidelines for COVID.There is a deli in the back, a plethora of items to choose from and the store is always clean and well-organized. Their book-swap-and-share feature is what sets them apart from other grocers. They have convenient store prices even though they are a grocery store. This is a big short coming. These steep prices are somewhat balanced out by the reasonable deli prices.

The hours are ridiculous in Farmington. They always close too early (6PM) which leaves no time to go there after college and work. Some of the employees are burnt out and it shows. Their food selection is fine if you don’t need too much, but overall fairly small. The produce is often bruised. They have alright prices, I just wish this place was open for regular business hours. Most grocery stores are open until 8 or even 10–even the food city in Wilton (only 20 minutes away by car) is open until 8.

I had my doubts about Food City because often small local grocery stores have spotty produce, borderline meat, and a limited selection of baked goods... This store defied all of those expectations. Their deli prices are less than at the big grocery store down the street, the meat was fresh, the produce was often organic and local but never stale, and in addition to carrying several kinds of bread and baked goods by local bakers, they also bake all butter croissants in house :-)

IMO this place has a better selection of meat than either Hannafords or Walmart. I believe it is all locally sourced.
