I loved visiting this store in Freeport! There are 5 different Abacus locations and this one is probably my favorite. It's a wonderful store to find unique gifts and home decor at a reasonable price. The employees at this location are very kind and helpful. They knew a lot about the items in the store and anything they were unsure of they found more information for me. The building itself is beautifully designed and a staple of Freeport history. My only concern was that my older mother had a difficult time getting up the large concrete stairs because there's no handicap-friendly entrance. However, our experience inside Abacus was wonderful. We will be back closer to Christmas time to stock up for Christmas!

Very nice spot to shop. Very unique. Do not recommend taking younger kids in simply because breakage would be expensive.

This place is a neighborhood gem on the Main Street of lovely Freeport. They actually have several locations, and they maintain to keep intriguing merchandise at all stores. We peek inside every time we’re in town!

I have been purchasing the wall calendar for over 30 years. I usually order via phone w/Michael ❤️ he is by far the most courteous, warm and friendly salesperson ever... he always draws a Santa on my package just for me I hope. We tried to go into Abacus in Ogunquit with my niece but were quickly rushed out before even coming in the door. We had a stroller with us, and I understand Abacus does not allow strollers, but we were not allowed to enter even with her in the carrier. She’s three weeks old and totally chill but we had to leave because babies are not allowed in and the staff made that clear.
