Charged twice for a set of sheets and a duvet due to their bad online site. Tried to contact Customer Service once I saw the overcharge. Went on to their customer service forms to cancel the order. Charges are still Pending on both credit cards. Alerted 2x credit cards companies both charges were fraud. Called Cuddledown customer service and was told to wait a few more days. These people are really incompetent. I will never know what their products are like as I will never be a customer of theirs.

Terrible company. The 'rebate' thing is an absolute come-on. They will have you jump through hoops, ask for you to upload your 'documentation' and once you have done these ridiculous thing the rebate will never arrive. If you write to complain and ask where it is they will once again ask you to upload your documents. It's total BS, don't fall for it, you will never see the money.

Like others here, it's the online service that I have had problems with. They said my address didn't agree with what's on my credit card address, so they held the order. I have one of those New England addresses that you can write three or four different ways. I try to keep the simplest version but some of my credit cards autofill to something else on the statement. Nevertheless, the credit card always approve orders with the simplest address (because it means the same thing). Cuddledown held the order until I called and then they argued with me about my address. I had to find my statement from that credit card and give them that information (version 3) but then they autocorrected it to version 4. I haven't ordered from them in a couple years. I hope that quality of the comforter is still good enough to be worth this ridiculousness. Cuddledown management, please change your online and phone-in customer service. It's losing you business!

AVOID CUDDLEDOWN and their fraudulent "VIP Service." I was a customer of Cuddledown for many years, however, no longer. They used to be a privately owned company and the majority of their products were of good quality, made in the USA. In 2013, Cuddledown was bought by "The Potpourri Group" and Cuddledown has become nothing but a fraudulent company. 95%+ of their items are from China: They like to use the term "imported," which is just a guise for "Made in China." $25 FOR SHIPPING, for even the smallest order. Their Customer Service is the ABSOLUTE WORST ON THE PLANET: It is the Customer Service Dept. from hell, talk about "Kafkaesque" -- what a nightmare. They are based in Asia somewhere and are of no help whatsoever. I could go on and on about the bad experiences I have had with them of late, but suffice it to say, do yourself a favor: Save your money, time, and avoid the aggravation; you can find nicer linens elsewhere at less cost. If I could give Cuddledown a "0" rating instead of a "1" star rating I would -- I wish I could give them a "- (negative) 25" rating. It's a racket.

Very unhappy with lady on phone. Had to spell my name 4X - didn't know English. Later found out operators and customer service is located in Philippines. Very disappointing for a company based on the east coast!

Refused to honor warranty on a $160 feather pillow. It was an excellent pillow, but the casing ripped and feathers were pouring out.

The merchandise is very nice, but I had the same experience as others. Their web site is not up to date. You order a set of sheets, and they are out of stock on the pillowcases. You order a duvet and shams and they are out of the shams. They don't contact you to see if you want an incomplete order. You are charged shipping and then return shipping. You can call customer service and they will say they are putting in a note, but you don't get a refund. Shipping cost are very high.

Really terrible service. I ordered sheets (very expensive ones). They cancelled the order and charged me ~$70. I followed up and they told me the address was not correct even though it was correct on the email they sent confirming the order. They told me to contact customer service. The person answering this call was rude and did not have the information I needed and shouted at me about the order. I asked to speak to someone else and she hung up on me. I will not order form this company again.

Shipping charges are ridiculous. For underwear that weighs less than a pound and is being sent to the next state, they charged $19.99 plus a $2 carrier fee. Then they waited THREE WEEKS to ship. Who knows? Maybe more, because I still haven't gotten my order. When I sent an e-mail to follow up, I got no reply. So I called and was told there was a huge delay on the order because I put my apartment number on the same line following my address and they were going to investigate.1) I did not put my apartment number on the same line2) They send me a catalog every couple of weeks to the same address3) I used their form to input the address4) How do they plan to investigateWhen I called to follow up, I got: "Ma'am, please calm down" They sent me an order confirmation weeks ago and no contact since. Have been checking my spam folder for weeks.

We ordered a comforter set, and eventually learned that they didn't have the top we ordered, so they canceled that order but sent us--and CHARGED us for--the pillow shams. Obviously, they were of no use to us and we had to deal with the return. On the heels of that, they signed us up for "Cuddledown VIP"-- we didn't know we had signed up until they charged us for several months of membership fees. Like other unscrupulous vendors, they made it less convenient to terminate membership than to sign up for infinite monthly charges.Very disappointing

as someone who has ordered online from Cuddledown as far back as 2008, I cannot begin to convey the awful customer service when I recently attempted to order several items and had experienced a sluggish and often unresponsive website, to only then reach out to customer service via message and phone calls and encountered the most incapable (though it seemed that is how they'd been set up to be). They suggested I contact a level two customer service by phone instead, which I tried three times to get through to and was sent to something called The Country Store; the fourth time I remained in a hold loop. it's shocking to see a company get in its own way to such a degree. it's also a way to lose a customer for good.
