Island Treasure Toys is a locally owned, independent toy store located at the foot of Bow Street in downtown Freeport, upstairs from Brickyard Hollow. The second of three locations, Island Treasure Toys has been a staple for residents' and visitors' toy, gift, and games needs for over 20 years. The friendly staff will help customers choose the perfect gift for infants, teens, and the young at heart, and they offer a free gift wrapping service. The store carries a wide variety of popular brands, including LEGO, Playmobil, Melissa & Doug, Douglas Cuddle Toys, Ravensburger, Calico Critters, Slackers, and Faber Castell. Customers praise the helpful employees, the great selection, and the competitive prices, which are often better than big-box retailers. Although the store is located on the second level and may not be stroller-friendly, it is a beloved destination for locals and tourists alike.
This was our first time visiting today and fell in love with this store. Incredible selection of today across two floors, with fun creative play spaces to “test” a small selection of toys. The prices felt reasonable and there was something for anyone!!

One of Maine’s greatest toy stores. Very helpful employees (Nate & Kat) with loads of good ideas for my child. They were sold out of an item but tracked it down at another one of their stores. They’ve got a little something for everyone!
