“just wanna start off by saying i miss my girl sage. sage is one of the owners dogs that just hangs around the store. she is so adorable and friendly. the store itself has an old timey feel. they also have a large inventory of both everyday appliances and specialty ornate cutlery. the staff is kind and courteous.”

“UPDATE: After calling again the nice receptionist directed my call to Drew, who listened attentively and went to work. I shortly had a call back from Drew about my order. After informing him we no longer needed it Drew said we could return things easily. Later that day the store manager Jason called me as well to let me know the situation was being dealt with. Arriving at the store to do my return Jason introduced himself to me and ensured my return was received and promptly refunded. The return ended up saving money on the project. Due to this I would be happy to do business with Hammond in the future!

Ordered some TimberTech decking from Hammond for a project. Trying to keep business local and hearing good things about the company I ordered the material through them from sales rep Brandon. If you ever work with Hammond do not deal with Brandon. Left several messages which were not returned and had to go to the store in person to get an update on my order. While the product was fine, the lack of communication was beyond frustrating. I understand delays happen but would have wanted some communication so my project plans could adjust. Will be very hesitant to do business again with Hammond”

“Expert craftsman. Friendly and knowledgeable. They custom built outside lanterns for us in 1977, then restored them in 2016.
We also replaced two lanterns that were unable to be restored after 40 years of island weather. Great selection to choose from.”
