One of the all-time best, Philadelphia, cheesesteak sandwiches! Anywhere period! Actually, I ate a 2nd Philly cheesesteak, and would have had a 3rd! Absolutely worth the 20 mile boat ride.Oh, and the Keylime pie, the crust tasted like it was pure butter. Recommend making it à la mode just to complete the experience. The couple own the restaurant are beyond nice, adding yet another level of enjoyment. Most highly recommend ? ⛵️?????

A lovely place to eat and look out over the picturesque harbor, which is visible in both directions from the seating area. The people who are currently running it are very kind and have made the menu quite good. There are a lot of options and good variety. The key lime pie was awesome. The coffee is really good. You will think 'the coffee can't possibly be that good', but you will be wrong, because it is.This place would certainly be more popular if it were easier to get to. You have to either take the ferry from Bass Harbor or go by private boat. But for being somewhat secluded, more people would certainly have found out about it because the setting beautiful and the food is tasty.

John does a great job running this establishment with his kids and the other young people he has helping for the summer. The lobster was fantastic, prices were reasonable, hospitality was super and in the morning, the Cheesy P's and coffee were the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend making this a summer stop when in Maine!

We picked up a mooring, for $25 and had a great lunch of lobster pizza with homemade crust! Our island hike took longer than planned so we missed out in the blueberry pie but we’ll be back!

We've been to Lunts Harbor Frenchboro Long Island many times. The food at Lunt's dock has always been good. This year the deli is under new management. At the minimum, you have got to have a cup of coffee and a cookie. The coffee looked and tasted divine. Like, made by hand, one cup at a time. Heated frothed milk on top. The chocolate chip cookies were big and caramelized. Delicious.

We had a terrific welcome in Frenchboro, and were able to support this business by renting a mooring, buying lobster rolls in the evening and excellent coffee in the morning. It was worth a long sail to get there!!

We arrived on the dock a bit before 5:00 and joined the line awaiting the opening. First, the people who were in a hurry for take out were served and then the rest of us relaxed as we watched the trips back and forth to the water for the fresh lobster was would soon be our dinner. My husband had the lobster dinner with corn and slaw. I had a tasty lobster roll that had very little, if any, mayonnaise and excellent seasoning (maybe a hint of lemon zest). We shared the Brutus salad and each enjoyed the locally made blueberry pie. There only appeared to be 2 people working there, but they kept the food coming for all. The view from the deck tables was beautiful and we returned to the boat in time to enjoy sunset. Bring your own beer or wine if you want and they supplied nice glasses. Regarding table service; you place your order at the kitchen window and somebody brings your food to your table when it is ready.
