Tony was very personable on the phone and answered all our questions. His son, Cameron and assistant, Phil, was very professional and courteous. Rates are reasonable and they answered all our concerns and questions. Thank you.

We have have our generator serviced multiple times and are always very happy. After our last service our generator would not start ( now I know it was due to the temperature) and Cameron came out right away to take a look and make sure we were set for the storm that is due to hit. We are thankful to have them servicing our equipment.

I have always had a great customer experience with them. Has maintained it on time and came right out when it had issues. Got it back up and running quickly. Very nice company to deal with.

On April 9 (2021), we provided Kokernak a deposit to install a generator. He said he would get it installed by late summer. He did install the necessary wiring in the summer as he awaited the generator from Kohler. In September, I started sending him monthly texts inquiring about the install. I was told it would soon get done. When inquiring in October, he said it would be done before it got too cold. I asked if he had the generator and he responded in the affirmative. In November, he responded negatively to additional texts asking for clarity on an install date and he said he would no longer do the job and would return my deposit. In December, he was served with a letter requesting the deposit be returned or to install the generator. He has yet to reply. Thanks to Google reviews, I now see this is a trend for Kokernak. I wish I had known this history before contracting with him. The Maine Attorney General's Office has been contacted.

I called Kokernak to look at my Winco electric generator which was not working when I bought this house earlier this year. The seller told me it hadn't worked in years and would need to be replaced.Tony the owner of Kokernak came to my house 3 days after I called. He methodically checked out the generator and electrical systems. After replaced 3 damaged parts he got me up and running. He was on time, courteous, answered all my questions , and knew what he was doing.Very happy with their service. The price was also reasonable for about 2 hours of work.

Early last fall we paid a significant deposit for a generator installation at our home. Nine months of chasing this company to finish its work demonstrates its abysmal customer service and attitude. Find an authorized dealer and AVOID this company or hire them at your peril. In any case don't provide a deposit!!!!I have since filed complaints with both the State Attorney General and the Better Businesss Bureau as Kokernak has still done nothing.7/7/21 Another month has passed and still nothing, Really find an honest business.8/1/2021 Sent letter and email asking for refund more than two weeks ago. No response from Kokernak. This has not been resolved.8/13/2021 Registered a complaint directly against Tony Kokernak with the Maine Board of Professional and Financial Regulation as he continues to fail to honor his contact or his June offer of a refund.

After providing a $4,000 deposit for a whole house generator purchase and installation, I spent 9 months calling, and emailing Tony Kokernak trying to get this company to honor its contract. Slow responses, multiple broken delivery dates, later, I finally complained to the Better Business Bureau about this company. Do yourself a favor: DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME dealing with this company. Find an honest authorized dealer who will actually perform the work and deliver the product.

Mr. Kokernak stole $4,500 from a 93 year old couple. Would not recommend doing business with him!

Mr. Kokernak stole $4,500 from my family (my 93 yo grandparents). Would not recommend doing business with him! Back in Oct/Nov 2018. Mr. Kokernak was solicited to install a generator for my grandparents. A $4,500 deposit for the generator was given without a signed contract. Due to some logistical issues (placement of fuel tank etc.) my family decided against the generator installation and asked for their deposit back. We were told we would get the deposit back in a couple weeks. After over ~10 overly polite phone calls and more than 10 months of patiently waiting my family still has not had our deposit returned. What kind of person would take advantage of an elderly couple? Despicable, and certainly not the type of person I would want to do business with.
