348 Water Street, Gardiner ME 04345
“Actually I’ve had good experiences with the Gardiner Post Office. The staff is friendly and helpful. Package delivery is sometimes a little slow but they are understaffed. I’ve had packages delivered long after hours so they can get caught up. They really do their best and being understaffed is bound to lead to the occasional mistake. Customers need to be more understanding. I’ve heard more rude customers than staff!”

“This is a convenient stop for folks living on the east side of the river. There is no wait, and they seem to provide all postal needs. There are two entrances. You walk to the back of the hardware store to access one of the entrances.”

“Tucked in a back corridor of the historic federal building so a little hard to find. The main doors should have a USPS sticker so you know you’re in the right place. But it is a very cool old building and old post office. The clerk was very friendly and helpful.”

“I had a fantastic experience at the Augusta Post Office thanks to Tanya. I recently moved and hadn't updated my address in time, which could have been a headache. Tanya was incredibly courteous, professional, and patient. She stayed with me through the entire process of locating my held mail and even left a note for her colleagues to ensure it’s ready for me tomorrow. She also verified that my change of address is now active in the system. The world would be a better place with more people like Tanya!”
