I’ve been with TD for two days and nothing but problems. So the employees here are fine. TD as a whole is the problem. I went to purchase something online and had to do a verification code which was fine. Went to log into the online account to check my balance after just to be told I can’t log in and to call. Okay sure. I call and the other person was rude. They ask a million questions about your transactions but how are you supposed to know the proper date and amount IF YOU CANT LOG IN. If you ask them to repeat the prompt they all give you attitude. Luckily my guesses were close enough. Then I’m told my phone number doesn’t qualify for verification and I need to go into an actual bank? That doesn’t make much sense at all. The card works and I can purchase things but I’m going to be closing that account when my pending deposits clears. My account is constantly getting flagged and I’m constantly on the phone. That’s not what want in a bank. I opened up an account with Evergreen and I’m going to be switching to them. TD is such a disappointment.

Zero sense of urgency. Went to get a wire for closing on my home. Stopped at once branch who kindly let me know they were busy so made a phone to the gorham branch who said they had 3 members who are available to assist me to only show up as they were expecting me and be told to sit down and wait for over a half hr. Awful team at this location.

Have been to Gorham location multiple times that they are supposedly open according to their hours, but there aren’t enough staff so it’s drive thru and appointments only. Even the Bank Manager suggested that I should try the Westbrook location instead, that maybe they could actually help me.

The most unprofessional, discourteous customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life and that was from the branch manager. Run, do not walk, away from this bank. Employees there seem very unhappy under current management and rightfully so. With so many banking choices available, why even consider giving business to an entity that allows individuals like their branch manager to exist. Very discouraging.

Once prided as the "Most Convenient Bank" and "#1 in Customer Satisfaction", these folks have dropped the ball wickedly in 2020. I understand COVID times are tough, but no other industry I've encountered during this pandemic has deteriorated their standards in speed of service or overall professionalism like TD Bank's Gorham, ME branch. This one juvenile teller had a nice shirt on typical of a business professional, only to be seen in dumpy honky-tonk boots and saggy pants when he walked away from the window to the computer to cash my single check - which took him a painstaking slow 25 minutes while he prioritized joking, laughing and practicing his charm on his fellow female coworkers. I wish I could use the ATM but I have not seen it stocked with cash once since March 2020 and we are now in October, showing me this is the "new norm". I can't speak for the other TD branches, but this Gorham one particularly is not worth anyone's time or business. I wish I could blame it on new faces, but its the same faces I've seen the past couple years just with dramatically decreased work ethic and pride. They deserve 0/5 stars in 2020, but Google reviews makes me give them at least one, so here is your one star for being the most bare minimum I can ever expect in banking service.

$7 to cash a check from someone who does have an account at that bank? Only bank I have ever been to that does that. What did TD do to earn the money?
