What a mess, since new ownership. Beer selection needs to be improved, on par with the Winter Harbor, IGA or Dunbars.A six pack of beer just cheap American beer like Miller light, highlife, PBR or Budweiser used to always for years $7-8 dollars here, now they are charging individual can price instead—two dollars per can, thus a six pack becomes 10 or $12, roughly 2 dollars a can.So, for another five or eight dollars it’s more worthwhile to buy a 12 pack or a pack, just seems like highway robbery to me to overcharge like that. $12 for a six pack of cheap swill beer. Which, by the way, I happen to like, and also they don’t sell any good beer here. It doesn’t even make any sense, this is under the new ownership and management since this spring. No complaints prior to new ownership.

I just tried to order a pizza at 6:10pm. Mind you; I had called earlier to ask what the “cut off “ time was to order pizza. I was told anytime before 6:30pm.I called to order pizza and was told that “the kitchen is closed “. And then when I tried to tell the young man who answered the phone that that was not what I was informed of earlier; he hung up on me.Not good Young’s Market, Gouldsboro, Maine!NOT GOOD!?

Doesn’t seem to be any consistency regarding when they decide they’re not going to serve food. Sometimes it’s this day, sometimes it’s that day. When I walk in at 7am and see a dark kitchen and empty warmer I turn around and leave. Rather give my money to Hancock grocery right up the road.

We called this afternoon to see when they stopped serving from the kitchen and they said 7. Long story short we tried to order at 6 pm tonight and the individual who answered the phone said that the kitchen is closed and hung up the phone.Last time I ever order from the store again since new owners took over.

Nice business. Friendly and professional people and owners. Store looks Amazing! Very neat, clean and everything is displayed, leveled and fronted to the shelves. A good variety of things. The gas prices at the pumps are better than most stations. Young's Market takes great pride in what they do and it shows. Best small convenient store in downeast Maine.

Never consistently have breakfast. It's apparently whenever they can get s cook to come in. Just go to tideway, it's 10 minutes up the road and the food is better.

Family owned and run gas station and pizza/sandwich shopThe freshly made food here is awesome and a good value. I had the pizzas and the breakfast sandwiches. I posted pics of the menu boards from July 2022.The owners were very nice and deserving of your business. The convenience store is small but has a little bit of everything. A neat find for me was the Blueberry Milk!

Since the new owner has taken over responsibilities of a local and friendly store, things have taken a turn for the worst. The ATM is out of order and has been since. Customers can't purchase anything with a visa or credit card with out a five dollar minimum and food stamps can't be used yet because the proper license hasn't been acquired yet. There's no cash back for when I need 75 cents to fill my tire in which I've been having issues with. Complete failure for the new owner to a very nice store. Employees of the store are also working 7days a week. Not sure the hours of the shift but everyone needs one day off. Someone needs to step in.

They are a family owned business. Quick and easy to get in and out for gas. Pizza and subs are awesome. The people are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend to everyone.

Convenience store is convenient. Yes, the rental car went "Ping!" and we stopped to fill up the tank this afternoon. We were able to fill up at the pump and had no need to go inside which in this pandemic era is a good thing. Located on US-1 with a very high cover, it was super easy access to get in and get out. Overall, our visit was A-OK. [Review 14876 overall, 378 of 2021, number 59 in Maine.]

Great pizza! Glad to finally have a place to go without a mask! Dont worry about that communist Zach. We dont need him in this town anyways. I'll stop here more often!
