RH Foster is a shady company that doesn't back any of their customers. I am out a furnace and called RH Foster to get the last service date and details of what they did to my furnace. They didn't write in detail what they did to my furnace. They just wrote that they were here and checked it. Save yourselves the frustration. Stear clear of them and make sure you watch them around your furnace, as they won't write down in the invoice what they have done to it.Makes sense if they don't want to be held accountable for their mess ups. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE. SMALL BUSINESSES WON'T DO THIS TO YOU.

What oil company won't help someone in the dead of winter!? No oil and because we're aren't a current customer (just bought a new house literally yesterday) and have 0 heat. Was 24° in the house when we got in and you guys won't even help. Would rather see people freeze. Pathetic company you are!

Couldn’t agree with these reviews more. Marquis was great, RH Foster is horrid. Lincoln office is rude, unprofessional and clueless when it comes to customer service. Maybe they should focus on the petroleum business, perfecting that and sending their staff to customer service trainings before expanding or branching out into other lines of business and trying to conquer the world. Staff pool is definitely in need of some chlorine. Save the canned response, it’s a bad look.

RH Foster has been phenomenal. From working with me when i had to fix my boiler to A1 service any time you call in. Especially Bo. Every time i call he is super helpful and its great to have such an awesome service for something as important as heating. Thank you again!

The worst service imaginable. Reported a leak- couldn’t get them to call me back for 5 hours. They don’t show up when they say they will, don’t acknowledge any of their mistakes, don’t fill tank up (2 just went dry). Honestly, you couldn’t find a company that cares less about provision of service. And they’re actually dangerous. Switching to Dead River.

So I have used marquis fuel for years. When rh foster bought them out, the service rapidly deteriorated. As my partner and I deal with the loss of his parents and the weather is getting colder, I called for a delivery for the estate property, which has been serviced by rh foster for years according to the service ticket on the in-laws boiler. I was refused. Even though rh foster says they are trying to "protect the estate" and I was offering to pay up front for the delivery,they insisted I complete a credit application, even though I already had another account with them. Pushaw fuel, people. Pushaw fuel.

Customer service has really gone downhill since they have taken over Marquis Heating. Especially office staff at the Northern locations. Unprofessional, rude and provide nothing but excuses for staffing and scheduling issues as if it's your fault as a CUSTOMER they are supposed to be providing a service to. Just pathetic.

lincoln division delivers oil to friend that has a tank in a prefab shed . now delivery is not allowed due to wood floor. tank is now full. For two seasons nothing was said about tank setup. friend does not have the income to remedy this situation. thanks rh foster time for a different oil company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s apparent this company has some serious internal issues.Switched from Dead River after a new building purchase. I wanted to take the chance on a new partnership as an association I am a member of gets a considerable discount. However, after a disastrous month I switched back to Dead River.Unless you enjoy mistakes, chasing people, or billing mistakes. I would steer clear.

We have used this company for 5 years. It has been a horrifying experience. We have struggled keeping our water hot on and off for this time. Replacing everything possible. We have been charged for things that were quoted but never done. Hoping that maybe they could figure out what was going on with no luck. They will be picking up our tanks asap.

I was a customer for over 3 years and my experience was horrifying. I had the Silver Maintenance package which entitled me to annual cleanings and inspections. When I finally severed ties to the company recently they ensured I'd receive a prorated refund which I never received. Additionally, it appears that a cleaning was never done at any point during their service based on the opinions of the company that cleaned my furnace recently. Their oil prices were always $.20 to $.30 higher per gallon then the highest price I could find in the area. I was on their automatic delivery service and ran out numerous times. When I'd call to let them know I was running low they'd say they couldn't deliver for a week or so and ask me to call when I ran out...despite living only a few miles from their office.
