Hancock Grocery is a small, friendly market with helpful staff and basic essentials. Visitors have stopped for gas at good prices and enjoyed hot dogs and grilled Red Snappers from the meat counter. They offer a variety of items, including a large Italian sub at a fair price, making it a convenient spot to grab lunch on the road. Though small, it provides a welcoming atmosphere and simple, satisfying food options.
Came for the sub, but fell in love with the peanut butter whoopie pie. Theirs beat all the others we've had recommended to us so far on our trip through Maine. Nice hidden gem in Hancock.
