Bailey Island General Store is the heart of the island, a classic Maine general store. It is a great place for essentials, snacks, and most anything needed during a visit. The kitchen serves fantastic and superb food, with very good and top notch items like the pancake breakfast, breakfast sandwich, egg breakfast sandwich, steak bomb sandwich, pastrami sandwich, Reuben sandwich, double cheeseburger, pizza, and lobster roll. They also offer gluten free bread and pizza. The staff is personable, super friendly and helpful, very kind, nice, and welcoming. The store is very affordable and definitely worth a visit.
There’s no question that this is the best establishment on Bailey Island.

The wife and I had lunch there this week. The food was plenty, it was good and affordable. The staff was very friendly and polite. We would go back in a minute.

Even though I just went for a drink a chips. I'll be back to try the food. Its has a small town feel and feels like home.
