“What a great organization this is! I have great admiration for the hard work that they have done for 40 years in this beautiful small town. The staff are unfailingly friendly, and I know they work very hard on behalf of the community and their members. They have a diverse set of programs in service of the town, including a very popular summer camp program. With over 10 miles of trails that are lovingly maintained by volunteers, the land trust ensures access to its many properties around town. You can see everything from beautiful seashore, to woodlands, to wetlands and offshore islands. Thank goodness for conservation organizations like this to protect the sensitive habitats and special places of Harpswell.”
