We got married at the farm in August and it was such a lovely day. The farm is absolutely stunning and the ceremony garden is really special on a beautiful day when the hydrangeas are blooming. For any future brides considering LWF:
Pros: the grounds are stunning. Truly a lovely venue and space. You can tell the grounds/landscape are maintained with love and care. There is an option to stay in the farmhouse on site for the long weekend, which we elected to do with a portion of our wedding party. Management is flexible with vendors so you are able to choose which you would like to work with for your day. Cons: a few small cons - the showers in the farmhouse are beautiful and antique, but it also means the water pressure isn’t great. There are some rules that we personally found challenging (like the trash maximum for their dumpsters - for a [not cheap] wedding venue, an additional garbage pick up after each event isn’t possible?). Cell service on the peninsula is spotty which is to be expected. The biggest con was is there was ZERO communication back from LWF after our event regarding the $1000 refundable deposit. We completely understand if a full security deposit is not returned - but some kind of communication explaining why should be appropriate. Unacceptable and word of wisdom for future brides: try to negotiate your contract regarding security deposit return timing and communication. Also, if you are non-local, please get a full service wedding planner (not just a day of/month of coordinator). In our experience, logistics at the venue was a little more than we bargained for when traveling from out of state

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Live Well Farm just last month. Wow! It was such a great experience. the grounds are beautiful and the reception barn has plenty of character! The bridal green room was huge and so well lit, it was a photographer's dream. If you are looking for a rustic Maine wedding venue you have found the right place! Don't forget to ring the bell when you're there.

Live Well Farm was the perfect place for our summer Maine wedding! We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at Live Well Farm. The ceremony garden is so lovely, with a lush pine backdrop and beautiful flower plantings. The grounds are expansive and wonderful for guests to explore – our younger guests in particular loved the chickens, the smores pit, and lawn games. The barn was the ideal location for our dance party, with a rustic vibe and a neat old chandelier covered in lights. We booked the farmhouse for Thursday through Sunday, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of Live Well Farm. It was the perfect place for the bridal party to stay, taking day trips out to sightsee. The farmhouse is exquisitely decorated – we all admired the interior design of each room!Planning a wedding at Live Well Farm was easy, in part because many of our vendors have longstanding relationships with the Farm and were experienced at working on the property. When it came to our big day, we couldn’t be happier with how things went! I would recommend Live Well Farm for any couple planning their dream Coastal Maine wedding.

Beautiful wedding venue. But bring your own trash bags & cans. Be prepared to drive home with said trash.

The Live Well Farm was such a dreamy place for my husband and I to get married, and we couldn't feel luckier to have worked with Patty and Scott. They were essential in making the weekend above and beyond what we had imagined. Because of COVID, we confirmed Live Well Farm as our venue less than 30 days before our wedding date, but Patty and Scott prepared the farm land beautifully and were incredibly responsive to every call and email so that we could move forward quickly with plans. Patty provided great guidance of vendors (caterers, tents, etc.) nearby for us to select, and she worked seamlessly with our wedding planners to coordinate all of the moving pieces. Thank you for a perfect and incredible weekend!

Live Well Farm is the perfect Maine wedding venue. Patty and her team do an incredible job. They work so hard to make sure your wedding day will go smoothly. There is a farm house on site that accommodates 11. We rented the house and venue from Thursday- Sunday. We were able to relax and enjoy every beautiful spot on the farm. If you're looking for a coastal Maine wedding venue, look no further. Patty, Scott and Live Well Farm will always be a special place to us.

My husband and I got married at Live Well Farm August 3rd and it was the best place to get married. The grounds were perfectly groomed. The farm house was absolutely stunning. Very welcoming and tidy. I love that it had two AC units to keep all of our NC friends (who are used to built in AC) cool. The owners of the venue were very pleasant to work with and were genuinely happy to be hosting us. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have the perfect Maine wedding. It has just the right about of rustic/classy vibes that any bride would be looking for.

We had a beautiful wedding at Live Well Farm this summer. Everything was absolutely perfect and the grounds made for the most magical setting we could have imagined. I cannot imagine a better place for our dream wedding. Patty was amazing to work with, as well!

I knew I wanted to celebrate something at Live Well Farm the moment I learned about it.Since my daughter chose to get married in New Zealand of all places, I decided the next best thing was to celebrate my 60th Birthday at Live Well Farm. It was an amazing weekend with 8 good friends. We visited local Brunswick attractions, walked some of the local Harpswell trails and thoroughly enjoyed the farmhouse with all of its comforts and accommodations.Patty was so great to work with, unlike any other weekend stay I’ve ever had anywhere. The Farm was loved by everyone. It was a totally unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!
