Something happened on June 2 to the internet for the entire area. There was a large outage that day, but ever since then internet speeds have been down to about 2/3 of the speed from before. A little less than 700mbit on a 1gig fiber connection. The problem isn't local because speeds vary depending on the location of the site you test to. Where before June 2nd it was consistently 920 to 950mbit everywhere.Edit: This was fixed a couple months after posting this review. As of today (2/13/24) speeds are normal. I don't think the problem was really TDS. It think the problem was outside of their network.

When the system is working, it works in a phenomenal manner. However, there are too many times, It will just shut down for no apparent reason and then connect in about five minutes.

I have had the internet service for a couple of months now and was one of the first houses in the area get the new fiber optic service installed. I purchased the 300MPS option and the speed tested about 330 for the first few weeks. It now has slowed down to about 230MPS and is noticeably slower than it was.

Watching tv still buffering alot, speed is good when testing but not that great when using it, I got this upgrade so I would not be booted off line anymore but I still get booted to often. Not impressed
