Food is good, store is ok if you need a basic. Otherwise staff lies, about having certain product when they have a while field of what it is you wanted. Told me they don't grow basil and rosemary, or know smekbe who does. They had a whole field.

This store isn't marked as a bakery here on Yelp, but it should be! Chrissy makes the best baked goods ever! The cookies are so good! Our favorites are the outrageous and the pumpkin chocolate chip, but we've never tried a kind we didn't like. The biscuits, chicken pot pie, coleslaw, and baked beans are also delicious. The store truly has everything you could ever need. They have a great selection of farm raised meats, a full hardware store section, and more. They of course have an excellent stock of maple syrup supplies, as one would expect from the store name. We grabbed some maple syrup jugs to bottle our own syrup when we stopped in on Maine Maple Sunday!

So happy to have this local store so close to my home! They have EVERYTHING and are such a hidden gem! Need lightbulbs? They have them! Dog treats? Those too. They also have; local produce, local meat products, fresh baked pies and desserts, butter or milk if you're running low, gift items, pvc piping, and maple tapping supplies. Anything random you may need, it's likely they have it. I'm the fall they sell pumpkins, in the winter they sell Christmas trees. They even had "pick your own flowers" which I was disappointed to miss but will enjoy doing next year. On top of the incredible amount of items they offer, the staff is unbelievably friendly. Every town could benefit from a local little store like this one!

The absolute BEST pies: chock full of fruit, NOT overly sweet - the fruit filling deliciously speaks for itself, as it should. Have ordered and enjoyed thoroughly the Chocolate (chocolate cream,) Triple Berry, Maine Blueberry so far and they have been off the planet yummy. Pie crust is thin in thickness, and flakey, so you enjoy the filling, no matter what it is. The top crust is just lovely to look at - steam holes are small, applied in a patterned orderliness - clearly Christine (the pie maker) takes great pride in her work and it shows. And the Chocolate Cream comes with your own separat tub of whipped cream, so the chocolate filling doesn't get watered down.. Since our Rhubarb season is coming around the bend, I can't wait to have a Strawberry Rhubarb and a plain Strawberry pie to add to my list. Tip to all: You MUST ORDER your choices - JUST CALL - Christine is very accommodating, but she cannot read minds. Otherwise you are apt to come and leave pieless - definitely YOUR LOSS. This is NOT the local grocer. For myself, I will not be having any other pie...EVER. I also believe in supporting local businesses, so $17 for an edible delight that is made fresh and baked on site I will gladly pay.
