Hope General Store is a cool little general store with a sandwich shop and pizza. It offers a great menu with excellent pizza and delicious sandwiches, including a Reuben. The store has draft beer, kombucha, and a modest price. It is very friendly with a smiling staff. The place is reliable and has a great sitting area to chat with locals or the friendly staff. It provides clean bathrooms and is a great place to get advice for the Maine experience away from tourist traps.
Delicious sandwiches! Did not try the pizza, but it looked good! This is a perfect spot to stop in for a fresh lunch or general necessities. Friendly staff and nice picnic tables to enjoy your meal at. We had the Italian sub and the meatball sub. The meatballs are from Micucci, an Italian store in Portland. Very good!

Great atmosphere, great people, great food, and good prices on the food! I got the Orchard, I highly recommend it. If you add anything I would check the sandwich first as the deli guy forgot the bacon I added
