“I got quoted by VIP in Bangor to replace the muffler and some suspension components on my Jeep. I was a little shocked (pun intended) by the quote and was told by a friend to give Sherwood a call. Long story short, I'm glad I did, because not only did he repair everything VIP would have, but he also replaced my front brakes for me and the price was still less than two-thirds what VIP quoted me.His location is a little more remote than others but he accommodated my need for transportation and had all the work done in a little over a day. “Great Place-will tell you what you need to hear instead of what you want to hear. Been here several times and have been pleased each time. Took my rusty old truck in for a leaking transmission, and they called me before doing anything to reveal that the frame is rusted beyond repair, and that the vehicle is not safe. Not the news I was hoping for, but glad they didn't fix the transmission on a truck that will be parted out. I even had to convince them to take money for the Diagnostic work they did. This is the experience you want when getting your vehicle repaired.”

They dealt with diagnosing a defective trailer harness from factory and were able to rewire the harness pins and get it working correctly. Since I bought the harness elsewhere (3 of them actually because they were all wired wrong from factory) I did not expect them to put so much effort in. Thanks!”
