“This hotel is slightly old but updated well. Rooms were clean and the bathroom looked fine. Try to get a room on the first floor.Nearby activities: There's not much around the hotel. We were stuck on a bus tour so we were limited where we could go.”

“Mountainview Resort is unique and beautiful on so many levels. It is a resort that sits nestled in the heart of the Moose River Valley and surrounded by a gorgeous mountain range. The lodge is so nice & cozy with the lobby being very welcoming. They have an indoor heated pool & and an outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, common’s w/pool table, fireplace, tv sitting area, and a reading nook with books available. They have five gorgeous cabins on the property that sleep up to 10 people!! The staff are friendly and very helpful. If you love outdoor activities, this is the place to go! Local snowmobile rentals, ATV rentals, canoes & row boat rentals, and white water rafter nearby.”
“Lovely cabins sitting on a wonderful location. Great fishing and snowmobiling. The staff were nice. 22 inches of snow during our stay and they were on top of it. Board games, wifi, and free coffee! Bring some music and an aux cord because the only radio station is in French and the stereos in the cabins are aux. Great location for a quick pop to our friends in the great white north too.”
