The Animal Welfare Society is a community-focused non-profit providing shelter, adoptions, affordable veterinary care, and resources. The staff is loved, described as amazing and phenomenal people who take excellent care of the animals and show appreciation. Many have had positive adoption experiences, finding the process straightforward and valuing the insight gained from foster placements. The organization is commended for making the surrender process easy and fast, taking in animals without question.
A noted concern involved a follow-up veterinary visit where a dog's ear was not checked as expected, leading to frustration about an additional appointment and payment. Overall, however, the Animal Welfare Society is viewed as an awesome place with amazing people, dedicated to protecting pets and supporting the community through adoption, reunification, and accessible care.

I adopted Anna yesterday, she decided to sneak out the door and run off. Without the help of Casey Reka and Lydia, We were able to get her back after 5 hours running through out the town.
These girls deserve a raise!!!! Thank you for helping us and thank you for capturing her we had a great first night 💟
