Stopped in right when he opened to see if he could help and assess some extreme rattling underneath my vehicle that I was concerned with which might lead to the exhaust falling off. jim or whoever was behind the counter immediately got Hornery with me and complained he was by himself and 2 weeks out on repair. 2 weeks???? Sounds a bit ridiculous. May I suggest that he either hire more staff, lose the attitude or just shut the business down and go fishing. Sunoco in kennebunkport had me up on the lift and problem rectified in 30 minutes so I could make my 4 hour ride back home. Jim should think twice before being rude to visitors otherwise he ends up with reviews like this.

Carl,owner of Jim's runs a fabulous auto repair business. I have been going there more than 15 years. Carl is extremely honest and won't "fix" anything that doesn't need to be repaired or replaced.

Jim's Auto repair in Kennebunk is owned & operated by Carl Haskel - Jim was the prior owner. I have repeated had my auto needs taken care of at his garage for many years and he is a fair priced, prompt and competent auto service man. Jim runs a one-man garage and as I often drive by his garage, I almost always see multiple cars there requesting or waiting for his service. He is remarkably prompt in getting the work done when he tells you he will & he calls you to inform you when the vehicle is ready for pickup. His bills are itemized and very fairly priced. If you want great service go to Jim's - if you want a chit chat - find a friendly therapist.
