If I could do ZERO stars I could ! The folks writing reviews that tell you how polite and great this Paul is are probably his relatives
This man is beyond rude and borders being dangerous
He mumbles rude things about you as you walk out the door he tosses things at you and snarls at you
They put him here to keep him out of REAL post offices
For such a small beautiful town shame he is the face of this Post office
I will go elsewhere

Over the years, I've frequented this PO and yes, it's the same person that works there. He is by the book, precise and professional. I believe it stems from a level of professionalism that isn't found often these days, where someone takes their job seriously. I would rather have someone who is meticulous, especially in a job such as this, as opposed to someone who is only interested in chatting or cracking jokes, which is what I found at the other main PO. Efficiency wins the game imo, I'm not there to get to know anyone really. Privacy is underrated.

Very rude male employee

Filed a formal complaint against this guy. He was exceptionally rude and unprofessional to me on the phone, and with raised voice, accused ME of being rude. It was crazy. He told me no one cared about my story or that my package was missing. A very nice PO employee called me back on this, from a different office. I suggest people go file a formal complaint online with USPS if you have an inappropriate interaction with him. How he keeps his job is mind blowing. It's really not ok. They have a file on him, and it keeps growing. He should be fired, period. Don't know of any other business where such a rude person with direct customer relations and so many complaints, could get away with this. There are good employees in the USPS, and this guy is absolute opposite of that.

Well, I guess his name is Paul. From the other reviews. What is wrong with this guy? I stopped going to this location because he’s always working, but thought I’d just drop a package off the other day - two years later and he’s still an…
How does he have a job? How is this location still operating? I imagine everyone must just go to Kennebunk where they’re much nicer and professional.
Hopefully, someone at USPS will read these reviews and do something about it.

Why is Paul still employed by the U.S. Postal Service? My experience is entirely consistent with everyone else's. I stopped by to drop of piece of mail that was misdelivered to my address with an incorrect name for that address and wrote "Incorrect Address" on the envelope. Paul lectured me on defacing mail. I have seldom encountered anyone so rude, arrogant, and insolent in a very long time. He is the antithesis of what a valued employee of the Postal Service should be - total lack of interpersonal skill and consideration in dealing with the public. I will drop off mail at the outside box but will not venture into the W. Kennebunk P.O. again and endure this level of mistreatment.

Minus zero would be my score, I have been for 30 years supporting the USPS but I never encounter a person with such lock of manners or people skills , Paul was the worst I ever dealt with my entire life, he thinks his job is to teach etiquette ,rude, obnoxious and talking about calling the kettle black, why is he working in a public government job??? dealing with people seriously I never had a single problem in my life going to the post office until this clown, horrible service, skip this place people.

Like everyone else writing a review, I'm here to complain about Paul. Never have I been spoken to by a stranger in a more condescending and downright rude manner.
After another horrible interaction with him today I visited google reviews to see if maybe it was just an isolated incident. Apparently, this is an issue for the entire West Kennebunk community who tries to utilize this office. As customers we do NOT deserve to be verbally abused when trying to use a basic service like the post office. It's embarrassing that even after countless reviews there seems to be zero repercussions. West Kennebunk deserves better.

Just wondering why I continue to see horrible reviews about Paul at the West Kennebunk Post Office and he still continues to work there. There are some serious issues with his performance. It’s not just every once in a while it’s every day. Why a business would except unprofessional, rude, condescending and just darn right nasty behavior from their employee is beyond me. People need to be held accountable for their actions and their job performance.

The man who works here is very condescending and rude and answers questions like it’s a verbal sparing match. Not sure why he chose to work with the public. I went in twice thinking the first time he may have had a bad day but it was the same thing again. I will be using the wells post office instead since everyone is super nice there.

Holy moly the dude Paul working today was a trip! I was trying not to laugh at some of his reactions to my simple questions and requests. He yelled when I didn't read something out to him but instead, showed my phone screen. "If it seems like I'm agitated, it's because you held your phone in my face!!!" I asked if he was having a bad day, and he said, "I wouldn't know." I genuinely wonder if he's okay and needs some mental health help? I asked if he could scan something or print a receipt and he gestured around and said, "Seriously? Do you know how this works? Does it look like I have a computer set-up here? " I told him I had never worked at a post office before but that information sure was interesting! He changed his tune and asked if I needed anything else and to have a good day. It was pretty funny because of how ridiculous it was. Crabby lil dude.

The guy working here (Name rhymes with Haul) has the opposite of a people personality. First and last time here. Not even attempting to be helpful in least bit. Yikes man, find another job that makes you happy.

Always Rude, and impersonal. I understand that there is more mail than there used to be but that is not an excuse for his attitude.
