The Candy Man is a fantastic, family-owned candy and chocolate store in the heart of Kennebunkport. It is a charming, must-do visit where you can find still great candy behind the counter. Many highlight their melt-in-your-mouth delicious salt water taffy and the best fudge they have ever had, including to-die-for salted caramel chocolate fudge and delicious turtles. However, some note that the prepackaged "candy by the pound" area may disappoint kids who once could pick their own amounts. While service is often polite, there have been instances of an unfriendly and condescending manager. Most find it a lovely shop well worth the visit.
We love this store! It is always a favorite on our trips to Kennebunkport. The maple creams are our go tos. Thanks for being a great business. Great staff and business.
