A very cool place with lots of history. The focus of the tour however is on a specific married couple who owned the house. It was interesting to see how the wealthiest lived at the time and were able to afford amenities I didn’t know existed then! I found the relationship between the marriage couple to be a bit bizarre- the guy came from immense wealth while the wife came from humble roots yet she was super demanding and he was always trying to please her so it was an uneven relationship for sure. Anyways, the tour was great but I would’ve like a little more history on the town itself only because the relationship between the spouses were a little irritating. But the guide was great and engaging and puts life into this house! It really is a beautiful piece of history and worth a visit ? But that relationship… oh boy ?

Loved the tour despite the feeling of pure dread upon entering the room with the paintings of the kids

Best for of learning, welcoming staff, not a museum but a well preserved estate to learn about local and national history.

Really enjoyed the hour tour here by Bob. What a memory for detail he has! The home is in great shape, with lots of original wallpaper, rugs and furniture. Despite huge crowds in the town this Friday noon, there were only four of us on the tour. There is so much rich history to be found in the lives and artifacts of the past on display here. Well worth your time!

Very nicely kept property, lots of interesting items inside. Our docent was very knowledgeable and able to answer answer all my questions! Great experience for anyone interested in American history.

Lovely home. Informative and friendly tour guide. I wish they would stop using the third floor for storage so the public could view it.

It was semi closed. It has one room with pictures and some books of the Bush family.

Really interesting museum and our tour guide was excellent. It's amazing the history this house has witnessed. It's amazing how well preserved everything is, including wallpaper and carpeting from the 1800's. This is a really interesting stop if you're in Kennebunkport!

Interesting but a bit deceiving since Bushs never lived there. Just the museum was a part of them, which was good.
