Customer service is very unhelpful. Went to return a pair of shoes that were tried on once for size, they didn’t fit. Man at the front desk took one look at them, made his own personal judgement call, and did not offer anything for a return. Woman with him also had an attitude and shot a dirty glance at me when I walked away.

What an amazing store. We found 6 pairs of shoes between my husband and I. John spent lots of time with me and my difficult feet. All six pairs were mailed and arrived on time with zero issues. Thank you for such great service! Michele & Chuck

My wife said I needed to go to Shoebox and Co. when we went to Kennebunkport. She was right. I have leg problems wearing braces to walk distances. I wanted shoes that felt like sneakers. John understood and set me up with a great pair of Rieker Stan shoes. He tempted me with Kizik Athens casual slip in shoes. Super comfortable even with braces. He took one of the insoles out of the Riekers so the brace would fit. A few weeks later I realized the insole never made it back in the box. I called John and he had it set aside. He said he went looking for me after I left but couldn't find me. He mailed the insole to me so I can use the shoes without braces. John is all about customer service. We have a new shoe store that we highly recommend. Thanks John

My wife and I visited the shoebox and she purchased two pair of well made Gabor shoes. The owners of the shoebox where very knowledgeable of their brands and very helpful and educated on the facts of their shoes. Highly recommend stopping in and chatting with them and looking at their large inventory of high end well made shoes. Thanks my friend !

Every year we go to Kennebunkport, I had to stop by the shoebox and co store. My daughter and I love this place and John always go about and beyond to help us choose beautiful pairs of sandals. I will come back next year again 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I was in a couple weeks ago with my wife and found a pair of Keen’s that I had been looking for, love them. My wife commented on how she liked John’s shoes, cool looking Pikolinos. John said he’d just was we for the second time and they were like slippers! They didn’t have my size but they ordered them for me and sent to me in Wisconsin. Shoes arrived late last week and I wore them last evening and John was spot on, like wearing slippers. Everyone should stop in the Shoebox when their in Kennebunkport, you’ll be happy you did!!! BT
