Fort Foster is a beautiful park perfect for families and dogs, featuring clean areas, walking trails, playgrounds for kids, and a protected beach. Visitors can enjoy discovering tide pools filled with hermit crabs, small fish, and snails, making it a great spot to escape the crowds. The park offers ample space to roam during low tide and showcases stunning views. While there may not be many ruins, the trails provide opportunities to see three lighthouses and enjoy the scenery. The well-maintained grounds highlight the local care, and the park is especially picturesque in winter when covered in snow. Fort Foster is a favorite among locals for picnicking and beach activities.
