I can't recommend Modern Love enough,!!!! especially if you're looking for an exceptional stylist! I recently had my hair done by Darrel, and the experience was truly amazing.

Melinda recently did a fabulous stacked hair cut for me. She also let me know ahead of time that she was running late, so I wouldn't have to wait for her. Although I just had a hair wash,cut and blow dry, Melinda took her time to do the best job she could for me. Thanks Melinda! It is looking great.

Danielle is an amazing stylist with a great personality. Not only is she talented but she’s funny. This salon is clean and great spot to in Kittery so I can grab some food and go shopping!

I first met Danielle years ago when she worked at Doo in Kittery, ME. She is a lot of fun, a great listener and she's not afraid to create something unique. I've always been pleased with the styles she has given me. I moved out West for a while and after moving back to the area I traveled to have Danielle continue to cut my hair. Imagine my delight upon learning she is now working at Modern Love in Kittery! I'm sure they are thrilled to have her as part of their team.

OMG!!! Danielle Moran is the best colorist and can cut your hair like no other. I've followed her to Modern Love (which btw is the sweetest and most hip little salon)! I've been seeing ChrIs for six months now and I adore him! He has transformed my very, very damaged hair. I was bleached, brassy and had lots of broken hair and now I have much prettier, healthy hair! I'm so glad I was referred to him.

I live out of town and needed a little self-care treat and was recommended here by a friend who had heard countless good things but had never actually been. It. Was. Amazing. I had a wonderful haircut by Melinda who was just fun and easy to talk to, so many laughs. I feel like she was the first stylist to actually listen to me about how I do my hair and then did exactly what I wanted and needed. I did bring a few pictures. Not only did my hair look amazing when I left, she styled it in a way that will be manageable for me to replicate without too much fuss. My bangs are adorable and I can’t wait until I’m back in town to see her again. Thank you!!

I went to Melinda in desperate need of a haircut. I very easily made an appointment on the vagaro app. I adore the studio itself, nice bright environment, very comfortable. I showed Melinda a picture of what I wanted. She took her time and made sure to get perfection. I found her and Michael both easy to talk to and just genuinely enjoyable. My hair is never easy, super long and thick, but Melinda tackled the task with ease. She gave me exactly what I asked for and I couldn't be happier! I am so happy to enjoy my new look and can not wait to return to Modern Love!
