I highly recommend Whitetail Auto Sales. I bought one of their cars two days ago. Wonderful family owned establishment. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The car even came with new tires, thirty day plates, and inspection sticker. Nice friendly sevice.

I inquired about a Honda Fit for sale and initially tried to negotiate a price lower than the asking amount. I was informed that the price was firm, which I accepted after two attempts to propose a lower price. I then requested a Carfax report, which was provided promptly.
Next, I asked for a video of the vehicle, both inside and out, as I live 180 miles away and wanted a closer look before making the three-hour drive. Unfortunately, I received no response to this request. I followed up with another note, but again, there was no reply. Despite informing them that I am a cash buyer, it seems they were not interested in dealing with me as a customer.
I find it disappointing that they did not even respond to my follow-up. If they didn’t want to proceed with the sale, a simple reply to that effect would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot say that the customer service at Whitetail Auto Service is satisfactory

I came into town and set-off on a car search with my sister, having just 1 1/2 days to help her find a car before I left town. After looking at some acceptable and not so acceptable used cars (from Waterville to Bangor), we came across Whitetail Auto Sales In Levant.
We dealt with Milton who is the owner, and his cars were head and shoulders above the rest! He seems to go for quality, not quantity! His business is located at his home, which a very well-kept property with his house and a large garage. He has a small selection of cars, all (when we went) with fairly low mileage. He thoroughly goes through the cars and services anything needed and the cars are meticulously cleaned (has a car detailing service).
Milton was extremely honest, pleasant and easy to work with (not the stereotypical used car salesman, at all!). He was so flexible and accommodating with times for us to come by. He was also extremely patient while we drove and re-drove the cars my sister was interested in, and when we returned a second time with my husband and my dad to look the cars over and test-drive again! It's very rare that the best/only cars you are interested in all come from the same (small) dealer and you can't decide which one to get!
With the paperwork and financing aspect of the purchase, we worked with Milton's wife Shannon. She too, was a pleasure to deal with!
My other sister (that lives in MA) is going to be in the market for a car in the next couple months and II already told her that we should go to Whitetail Auto first!
Milton and Shannon made the usually painstaking process of buying a used car much easier. I highly recommend them, and can't thank them enough!!!

Unbelievable how easy it was to buy a car. The car was for my granddaughter. No pressure salesperson like a big dealer . Quick test drive quick loan application. Picked up the car two days later. No issues with paperwork or the car. Amazingly easy. Love doing business with the Whitetail family. Definitely worth a look. Go down and check it out. You won't be disappointed. I had a lot of anxiety about purchasing a vehicle especially in my price range. I was looking for a gas efficient SUV for my growing family. I came across Whitetail Auto on Facebook and after dealing with all these large dealers and not having a good experience, I decided to check them out. Milton and his wife were lovely and I ended up purchasing a 2014 Honda CRV. Milton went up and beyond to fix a faulty bearing on my CRV and has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. I'm so glad I chose to go with this small local business rather than a large dealership that judges you based on your budget. I would recommend them to anyone!

This is an honest family business that I would recommend to anyone! Just bought a really nice 2014 used car with low mileage. The car was in excellent condition and priced below retail value. Very happy with my purchase and overall experience with this family dealer.

Sold a Lemon from day one, Car was high mileage (120k) so expected some issues but from the literal day I bought it was nothing but problems. Have paid about the same in repairs that i bought the car for and now the engine is near toast with cylinder misfires etc. $6000 in negative equity to top it off. was referred from a friend who got a car that has been fine. My experience has been the complete opposite. I learned a tough lesson buying my first car being on my own and now im literally paying the price.Never trust someone who says "Oh these are great cars" about a Chevy Malibu. This Dealer is a dice role and if you are desperate for a car for work, family etc. White tail is not worth the risk even though the prices look too good to be true (because they are). didn't even get two years out of this car and now the engine is to costly to repair.

Milton wasted a bunch of my time going up there to look at a vehicle, test drive it, then lie right to my face. As a business owner myself I respect people and give them an honest chance and I certainly don’t waste their time. He clearly has no respect for people or their time. It is getting very hard to find decent honest people to do business with these days, they are few and far between. A man is only as good as his word and Milton has no concept of this that I can see. Good luck to whoever chooses to do business with this establishment.
