Closing the post office line 20 minutes before the office closes is absurd. I'm standing there watching people be served and I can't get mail out before a deadline because I didn't know you have secret mystery closing times.

They don't deliver packages 90% of the time so I end up having to go and wait in line for 30+ minutes to pick it up. I'm convinced they do this to try and incentivize their overly priced PO boxes. Laziest bunch of workers I've ever had to deal with.
Additionally, there are many days when they open late or are closed for absolutely no reason. There is no holiday that would cause them to open late or be closed. Honestly the most frustrating post office I've ever had to deal with. I'm so glad we are moving.

It's 7:51AM and still not open, line is getting longer and we could still hear the workers behind the closed windows
It's officially 8am now, and there is no post office open in lewiston.

I would give less than one star if possible. The staff at the Lewiston Ash street location were all power tripping trash. They wouldn’t bring mail to my house because my dog “zoomed by” the mail carrier. When I went to pick it up the guy behind the counter was talking down to the lady behind the counter in an extremely unpleasant and condescending manner. They both then carried this behavior towards me because the little power they have excites them. I will get a PO BOX just so my dog can roam freely in the yard that belongs to him while they continue to be miserable and waste everyone’s time because again, that’s all the power they’re allowed to have ?

Probably one of the worst post offices in existence. I stand and waited in line for 20 minutes on a daily basis. I ended up forgetting a package one day and came back in and there was a huge line again and I asked them if they could just scan through my package and the guy told me to get back in the line you're cutting everybody. I had already been sitting there for 20 minutes or more and all he had to do was scan the package. Ever since that day he was remembered my face and asked me if I had cut the line because usually I'm the first person there in the morning and he even confirms with the other people in line because he thinks I'm lying . It's a guy that's always wear a black under armor shirt that acts like a total dbag. I have never gone there one time when there wasn't a mile long line. Stay clear the customer service is awful and every single day they open late by 10 to 15 minutes. I have to use their services daily and I am sick of it! Don't even get me started on the problems ive had with packages not getting scanned through somehow even tho I watched them do it. No tracking and they end up showing delivered weeks later. I have my own business that I work and ship from home, It has been a nightmare dealing with them to say the least!

I was told by my app that I have a package at the post office. They wouldn't even go look for it. Was supposed to get it today but now it'll probably get stolen because I won't be home tomorrow.

I have 31 pieces of mail of mine. I go there to pick it up and they can only find 5 pieces! They can deliver 6 packages to my address but no reg. Mail. Doesn't make sense.

This was a fairly good post office until the past year or so. The mail man is too lazy to deliver some days so he marks that the mailbox is inaccessible when its easily accessible and the old lady that works the counter is rude and doesnt want to do her job when you go in asking about mail. They need to hire some new management or something so the employees at this post office actually do thier jobs. Total incompetence.

You cant go right when they open because there is always a line so long that you cant even fit in the building. This is ridiculous either open more windows to help people or train your employees working the front to work faster. Shouldnt have to wait in line an hour just to mail something out. Stop using the pandemic as an excuse to not do your job because the pandemic is over. Management needs to figure something out because this post office is an absolute joke.
