My husband and I just spent several nights here and it exceeded our expectations! The grounds and rooms are beautiful. I highly recommend staying in the hillside rooms! The breakfast every morning was delicious and all of the staff were so kind. This was our first time in Maine and we will definitely be returning.

The most wonderful place in Maine! We will definitely be back to stay at this incredible boutique Inn. The grounds are breathtaking - right on the ocean. The rooms have views of the ocean as well. So clean and everything you need. The gourmet breakfast every morning was simply delicious. Thank you Mark, general manager, to you and your lovely staff for making our stay so amazing!

We loved our stay at the Inn! The room was huge with a fireplace, balcony, and terrific view of the Bay. We enjoyed breakfast daily. The pool and hot tub looked like they'd be great, but the weather from Hurricane Lee (Tropical Storm Lee) prevented us from jumping in. Staff was so welcoming. I definitely recommend the Inn at Ocean's Edge!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and loved every second of it. We were able to check in after hours due to us getting stuck in unexpected traffic. Upon check in the beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to enjoy breakfast each morning and I was happy with the gluten and dairy free options they provided. We had a blast exploring Maine and the view from our room was breathtaking. The hotel location is also convenient with a lot of attraction sites within driving proximity. We can’t wait to return again in the future!Rooms: The beds are very comfortable and room service keeps the rooms cleaned regularly. There is also a back deck with an amazing view.Nearby activities: Megunticook fallsCamden amphitheaterMerry spring nature centerAndre the seal statueFort Knox and Narrows observatoryOwls head state parkCadillac mountainYoung’s lobster poundBooth bay harbor whale watchingThunder holeCamden hills state parkAcadia National parkFood & drinks: Great breakfast with gluten and dairy free options

I would have given 5 stars but the hot tub and pool were not working. The pool water was like ice. The hot tub was fixed the afternoon before we left. Breakfast was very very good and it was nice to sit outside on the terrace for breakfast. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We appreciated the quiet. It was nice to wake up to the smell of breakfast.

Loved staying here! My wife and I were here for a special occasion and this was a nice combination of modern amenities with New England charm. Great location allows for day trips to Acadia or Bangor or staying local. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful resort stay, 3 buildings, depending on your needs. Friendly and helpful staff. Still use keys for rooms. See website.Rooms: Beautiful plush rooms, stayed in the Hilltop Section. Large room with king bed, balcony. Great views, overlooking Penobscot Bay. Individual heating, A/C, ceiling fan, gas fireplace, walk in shower. Refrigerator, TV, no microwave. No elevator to second floor. Only elevator is in main house where you check in.Nearby activities: Need a vehicle.Safety: Very safe, about 20 Acres.Walkability: On grounds, otherwise you need a vehicle.Food & drinks: Breakfast included in stay. Inside or outside on deck. Nice menu with table service. Hours vary by time of year. Bar open till 10. If you need a picnic lunch, let the inn know and they will prepare it. Only downside was kitchen was out of a lot of breakfast items, on a Tuesday of my stay, June 9th.Noteworthy details: Situated right on Penobscot Bay. Can't access the rocky beach as the stairway is closed off. Saltwater infinity pool, heated, Hot tub, sauna, gym. Adirondack and lounge chairs situated all over property. Outside and inside wood fireplace at pool house. Towels supplied. Grounds well kept, entrance off Route 1, about 2/10 of a mile to registration. Situated between Camden and Belfast. Dining facilities, Lobster dinners about a mile North in Town of Lincolnville, on Penobscot Bay. Nice views. Town Beach, plenty of parking.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. It's off the main road but sits down towards the ocean about a half mile so you can't hear it. Views are great, breakfast was wonderful. Wifi, cable, and a fireplace in our ocean view room. Would highly recommend ?

We had a second floor room with an ocean view. The rooms are beautiful with a fireplace and balcony. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job of keeping our room that way. The grounds were perfectly manicured with beautiful flowers. Super friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious as well. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that there was no way to get down to the ocean.

The rooms, amenities and surrounding property are all incredible. The rooms are upscale and have great ocean views, and the pool area is as class as they come. There is also a nice little path down to the ocean. Top notch resort in this part of Maine.

Stunning property! The views, the leaves (came mid-October), their pool, and decor, all beautiful. The property and the man and woman who work the evening and do check-ins, all deserve 5 stars! Let me explain the reason for my 4-star rating. When I originally called to inquire on booking I spoke with a lady who seemed a bit bleak. I assumed, because I called at 11:00 am and they had just finished breakfast, she may have been exhausted and this wasn’t the norm. I learned otherwise—I went to use their nice little gym facility-it’s located in the lower level-and the posted sign stated it opens at 7:00. At 7:04 a lady walks in to inform me the gym opens at 8:00. She states it’s listed on the check-in sheet, a long sheet of paper with a lot (it’s a lot) to read, which I will confess, I didn’t. I’m on vacation and the last thing I wanted to be bothered with was sitting down and taking 20 min to read a lot of information. The lovely people who checked me in told me about the gym, it’s location, but no one mentioned the time. I assumed the sign at the gym was correct. This could easily be changed to avoid confusion. It wasn’t the informing me that was bothersome, it was her tone. I felt like she was scolding me-as she continued on as I walked upstairs-she then proceeded to try and point out where it is written on the checkin information sheet-which I already had informed her I didn’t look at. The fact she wanted to continue to “prove her point” was unnecessary and tacky. I realized it was she that I spoke with on the phone; the familiar voice and acerbic comments. This is a lovely vacation spot, to have someone like this working in the morning and setting the tone for your guests day-Not the best idea. Maybe she is the owner?I’d also like to mention, the kitchen staff should know their voices carry into the dining area, so breakfast is full of voices and personal conversations from the staff.

This Inn is as beautiful as it gets! The grounds are immaculate and breathtaking all in one! The service is amazing and the breakfasts are fantastic with homemade food you can tell is made with love. The front desk personnel are very accommodating and the one person who stands out and that I would like to acknowledge would be Carman, she is so friendly and professional, very efficient and done all the a smile. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay for our 25th wedding anniversary. I highly recommend staying here!
