The fact that most of the branches keep later hours, than typical institutes, is a life saver for someone like me who typically works during regular business hours. No atm fees and the tellers are always willing to help me out and answer questions I may have. I feel like I should insert cheesy commercial reference here. “Edit: after a not so great customer service experience this morning I left a 2 star review. I was disappointed that the small town atmosphere of Atlantic has been making lots of changes and with my husband and I no longer in state I called to get information on the new website, app and contact information. The woman I spoke with wasn’t rude but just seemed to be reading a script and had no detailed information on my questions. I politely said thank you, have a nice day, hung up, left the review and moved on with my day.This afternoon I received a call from a manager at the Topsham branch concerning my review just to see why I would leave a 2 star review as a 10+ year member. I explained the few questions I had this morning and she was amazing about a detailed explanation of all the changes. With us no longer living in Maine that is all we wanted was piece of mind that the credit union who’s values we appreciate are not changing along with all the updates. I made a stupid mistake when I made a payment to my credit card, and yesterday Ashley quickly figured out what I had done and transferred me to Alex who said she would fix the problem. I got a call first thing this morning telling me that the problem was solved. I lost my husband recently, so life has been a bit stressful. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and patience - it's much appreciated. I would also like to thank Karen, the receptionist, and everyone on the second floor who helped me with this painful transition.”
