About Gateway Inn
Gateway Inn is praised for its lovely, friendly staff who create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Families appreciate the help provided to children, especially with games available in the lobby area. While some rooms have a musty smell, many guests still enjoyed a good night's sleep, and the night-shift receptionist added to their positive experience. The inn is particularly accommodating for truckers, offering an additional parking lot. Guests consistently highlight the cleanliness of the rooms and the respectfulness of the staff. The lobby is described as gorgeous, complemented by a friendly golden retriever. Some visitors noted that the beds were hard, which could be uncomfortable for older guests. Overall, the Gateway Inn offers excellent value for money, with spacious rooms and a continental breakfast, making it a recommended choice for travelers seeking quality service at an affordable price.

Pillows were not great, shower had no pressure. Room size was great and everyone we talked to who works there was super friendly

Even though this place is older and an hour outside of Bangor the entire staff was completely amazing. While waiting for a friend to pick me up due to a late flight these folks offer me food, snacks, and to drive me to the airport. People don't do any of that these days. Truly amazing people.
