The well-run property has amazing views in every direction from the hill. Accommodations are homey, with rooms that feel nostalgic and comfortable. The friendly and wonderful staff take good care of guests. They are known for graciously accommodating special requests, helping to create fun surprises. The food is amazing, delicious, and good home cooking. Breakfast, which is included, is plentiful with homemade everything from their own yogurt and yummy granola to fresh baked bread. There is more food than you can eat. The property also features a bake shop open daily, which serves as a wonderful oasis. It offers loads of vegan and other options, including avocado toast, hummus and veggie toast, hand baked pies, peanut noodles, orzo salad, and an abundance of thick, flavorful smoothies made with housemade oat milk. Guests can enjoy these on the homey porch overlooking the ocean. It is easily one of the best surprises, prompting many to plan to return and order one of everything. Many people have enjoyed their stay over the years and look forward to visiting again.
a very nice rustic Maine Island experience..not fancy but a perfect experience..it reminded me of the old Pennsylvania quaker farmhouse I grew up in. Coffee delivered to your room in the morning, very nice breakfast..

This is the most fun place I have stayed at for years. Breakfast was amazing…homemade everything from their own yogurt to their yummy granola! More food than you can eat!! The rooms reminded me of my grandmother’s room. Well run with wonderful people!! We will return!
