Spent 30 mins trying to call post office to get ahold of someone to ensure package I needed today was delivered due to power rooter being in driveway. Was hung up or ignored multiple times. Was able to get through to North Monmouth postoffice but they don't do packages. While waiting to get ahold of someone they bypassed my house and refused to relieved the package due to the power rooter people being in the driveway... there is more than enough driveway for them to pull down and set the package in front of the rooter van then back out. They just chose not to because it was easier. This is not the first time they have done this. I am not happy as I spent to try and ensure the package was delivered today as I needed it today!

Received a delivery notification on a failed delivery due to the road being impassable. Which wasn’t true, that was the 23rd of Dec. on the 24 of December I received a delivery notice “unable to deliver due to signature being required” no knock at my door & the “sorry we missed you” slip was in my box not on my door. Now we won’t be able to give gifts on time because of this poor customer service.

Here is a true story. We ordered a bedframe, delivered to our cottage. Usually we have items shipped to our house, but this was heavy, and a cottage neighbor said the post office delivered here. Late in the afternoon Amazon reported that the package was undeliverable and was being returned to the seller. We jumped in the car and went to the post office. The only employee there at the moment broke off her conversation with a friend to help me. I told her I had made a mistake and ordered something mailed to our cottage. She said "are you xxx at yyy road?". Yes I was. She told me exactly how to get packages approved for delivery here in the future. Then she lifted the heavy package and instead of giving it to me, identified a strong young man in line and in a sweet but commanding voice, had him take the box to my car. This could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to competence, quick thinking, and kindness.

They don’t seem to know how to deliver a package to my house. Every time I get a package that doesn’t cram into my mailbox they forget that they have two legs to deliver with! I’m a bit perplexed with the attitude of the post master. She doesn’t seem very worried about delivering mail. In fact she told me I should use ups. She must know something I don’t?!? How useless she and her underlings really are. Good luck.

Waiting for an important package that was supposed to be delivered yesterday, 10/19; it said out for delivery at 10am yesterday. We waited. And waited. Finally, at 9pm, we checked the tracking number to see that delivery had been "attempted" twice; 45 minutes apart and was not delivered because the "driveway or front entrance was inaccessible". We've NEVER had an issue like this. Not only do we have a decently sized mailbox, but a driveway large enough to fit 6 or 7 vehicles AND we have a front porch with a door that just needs to be nudged to be opened. Heck, I would have been okay with it just being outside. I need this package for work today (which starts in 10 minutes), so we went to the post office this morning to see if we could just pick it up. They open at 8:30. We were there at 8:30. The gentleman behind the counter was short with us and rude even before I swore (not at him, mind you, I just swear a lot. For flavor). We gave him the tracking number and he said it was already out for delivery somehow? Fine. I insisted that he call them and let them know we are home and I need that package. He said that's not possible. He said yesterday there was a sub who didn't leave until 3, so it was too dark for them to deliver all the packages. "A lot of people didn't get their mail yesterday" Uhm, what? Okay, 1)it said out for delivery at 10am, so either you're bold face lying to me, or you're scanning packages incorrectly. 2)headlights and the interior lights in the car are not enough to deliver packages? Then why do I sometimes get deliveries at 8-9pm from other carriers? 3) you probably shouldn't be sharing with the world that you're so incompetent, "lots of people didn't get mail yesterday". When I asked why they said it was inaccessible, he responded with "well they have to put something." That's when I swore. Told him to ask them to put something that makes sense and not say my fuxking driveway is inaccessible when it very clearly is. He latched onto that one swear and just kept repeating please don't swear until I left. I only swore ONCE and it wasn't at him. I'm frustrated and with good reason. This building is full of incompetent nincompoops. Fingers crossed I get my package today.
