Buxton is a great local hardware store and lumber yard. Everyone is always willing to offer help on finding what you need. I love that the store is convenient and usually has what I need, plus they can deliver orders.

Great service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, a good selection of products and materials. Their delivery guys are always very chill and friendly. They're not a big box supply chain, but somehow they keep their pricing at very competitive levels. They make it very easy to support a local business!

Ordered a small load to be delivered to make a duck house. Going to have to return some as it cannot perform as lumber (1 by 3 strapping that comes to a knife edge for 3 feet and 18 inches of the end is split off. All the 2x4 were very full of waining some were covered in strips of mold! Now my project starts with finding a mold removal product that won't hurt my ducks! I spent almost $300 and got the bottom of the barrel reject lumber. Next time I will rent a truck and go to a big box store to pick my own. Great customer service and friendly but very poor quality of lumber!

That nice young man Kyle held my box of grout so I could get a photo. And that Seth rang me up as quick as a wink. Definitely wood rerun there! (See what I did there? “Wood”? It’s a lumber yard...bahahahahahaha
